Thanks for another thoughtful and insightful review.

We picked up two of them a few weeks ago. Been commuting on mine, the heated stuff works as it should. The firmware has been updated to V 4.4 and smoothed out the throttle plus the annoying stutter. So far so good. I was surprised the top box actually takes my Scorpion ADX1 peaked helmet. Look forward to your ongoing thoughts

@@1couple4bikes I’ll check my firmware as that throttle stutter was something I was going to mention in next report - thanks for tip and insight! 👍

Thanks for posting this. Following all the recent hype around the latest Chinese bikes, it’s going to be really interesting to see a long term owners review.
In particular any possible dealership interactions.

Looking forward to seeing your thoughts Dan.
I’d like to see how you get on with dealer support and servicing as and when it becomes relevant, together with the service pricing. It would be interesting to compare with the GS.
Can you confirm the service intervals too please. I gather than it was initially shown as 3,000 but is now 6,000 (ish - 10,000 km).
I’ve seen it getting lots of good reviews from mainland Europe, where I gather it’s been on the market for a little while now.
Lots of accessories available from Uncle Wang in China !
Keep up the good work 😃👍🏻

@@matthewbenjafield5470 You’re right, there was some confusion on servicing but after my original video Voge’s UK distributor confirmed it had settled on 10,000km/6,200 miles or annually, which is a lot better than initially thought. Will do some research on costs as well and report back in future…

I keep reading/hearing matter of fact comments that say the DS900 is down on power compared to the BMW with which it shares an engine. My lingering thought is WHY?? Have they detuned it to meet emission rules? does it have less efficient fuel delivery or exhaust system? Can it be hacked to get it back up to BMW levels of performance?

@@JackOfAllTrades-UK It’s a good question and, I guess, begs whether BMW has its own ECU or does its own calibration work there. Hoping to get the F 900 GS for comparison test before the Voge goes back so stay tuned as whether you notice much difference on the road. Cheers! /Dan

Have you done anything regarding the suspension yet, if so will there be a video about it?

@@robertkoper3039 I’m just shy of 6ft and reasonably long in the leg and it feels pretty manageable for a relatively heavy bike. Seat is, I think, 825mm. Riding position is comfortable and confidence inspiring as well. And, yes, while the tyres are very much road biased I have some trails I want to try out. Watch this space!

This was a very long post telling us you were going to report back about everything. Possibly could have condensed all of it into a few minutes intro in the follow up when all would be revealed 😊

What do you expect from a cheap bike from a Chinese company? The build quality is low and it is an unreliable and unstable bike.

@@ACHRAFBACIR-u6y you would think that after a 17 year collaboration with BMW in making the parallel twin motors and others that Loncin must be doing something right.
