A few things: 1) This should've never been a cross over 2) I agree, Spyro Orange is more trash than Crash Purple 3) Seeing Spyro in a 2D side scrollernis weird to me 4) Instead of Crash Purple, they should've done a 3rd GBA Crash game (or next 2D Crash game) because Crash N Tranced was left on a cliff hanger assuming that Uka Uka was gonna be the main antagonist of the next game 4) The river raft, Polar bear, bat riding bazooka, free fall crate smahing, and Flappy Bird rocket mini game could've been vehicle levels for the next 2D Crash game 5) Fuck the rest of the Crash mini games, especially the tank and helicopter ones 6) Crash Nitro Fueled and Crash Rumble are the real Crash and Spyro cross overs
Good video! Man, I had the exact same feeling about these games way back when I played these. Absolutely wasted potential for a great crossover concept! This pair of games were so painful. These were the worst Crash and Spyro games I've ever played! These were just quick cashgrabs sold solely on brand recognition. I think an actual Crash and Spyro crossover platformer could definitely work. I mean, heck if Activision allowed Toys for Bob to come up with a Crash and Spyro crossover 3D platformer, I'd definitely check it out!
Spyro Fusion is the worst game in the series, which is hard to believe because I'm aware of Enter the Dragonfly being the worst thing that ever happened to this franchise and hardly worthy of the title of "finished product eligible for being sold in videogame stores". Crash Fusion, on the other hand, isn't nearly that bad in my opinion. Still pretty low tier for Crash Bandicoot and pretty disappointing for being the first crossover adventure with two of my favorite characters ever, but still fine as a minigame collection, decent enough for a handheld game in 2004. Also, we all thought Nina Cortex was first introduced in Crash Twinsanity, but this little GBA game came first and beat it at that. This is a fascinating and bittersweet piece of trivia since Traveller's Tales were not told about their new character being used in the game and they weren't happy to find out themselves.
this video was really well made! i just finished the other 2 gba games and wanted to see a video about crash purple and i didnt know it would be so niche haha
I played it at its normal aspect ratio, I just stretched it in OBS to fit the screen which was a wider aspect ratio. So it’s just an optical illusion basically :]
If you got this as a kid, you played it, because you got a few games a year and what else where you gonna do. Crappy games are how we learned about getting scammed by corperations during childhood.

Honestly i find Crash Purple to be worse than Boom Bang.
The worst cashgrab in their respective series.
What about skylanders?
@@DamnZtar that's another franchise so it doesn't count.
3:11 was that quote from Unreal Tournament or something?
I have no idea what Unreal Tournament is, so it wasn't intentional
@@Torran2Glitchy ah. It sounded like the announcer from that game so...
for real torran, you are so underrated, only 170 views? this deserves way more
You’re very kind to say so :]

When will you review twinsanity
eventually!
On the topic of Crash minigame collections: have you played Crash Boom Bang? If so, would you prefer that over Crash Purple?
Not sure! I’ll be getting to Boom Bang eventually :]
16:49
Bonus if you're not convinced the game is bad enough
it's don't even go along side the rhythm
torran i hope that whenever you try to do something all you can hear is just the spyro orange you did it jingle
thats the cruelest thing anyones ever said to me

Glad you liked it!
9:16 what the hell is that?!😂 & 14:09 is hilarious
How did you get the Crash Bandicoot: Warped footage in widescreen?

12:37 my sides 😅
"I can't think of any other big ones."
Damn, marvel vs capcom infinite really torpedoed the series' reputation
Don't forget Dead or Alive's reputation as well.
I bet people will be quoting the part at 16:26 in a few years to describe atrocities like this.
I owned a gba and ps2 at the same time, never played the ps1 and im kind of thankful for that lol
I had both the PS2 (well PS1 as well, since that was bought first) and GBA
I am glad I watched this before buying crash purple for 5 pound 👍👍
I had both a PS1 and a GBA XD I still have my GBA
They're kinda stupid but slightly fun. 5/10.
The only minigame that hurts my soul is CHOPPER STOPPER. And the other crappy helicopter games like it.
Okay but hear me out: the OSTs are great
I did and I’m telling the truth
