After watching this whole thing for the first time since I posted it, and as a musician, I didn't spend nearly enough time on the music considering how much I love this games ost. Oh well. My SA2 music ranking video is gonna be hype
To this day I haven't heard a game OST quite like Spyro's. It's so distinct. Anyway Hurricos is #1 for me. So evocative and unique. The NPC's, the gray clouds with sunshine, rainbow, the great music.
for 4:40 the puzzle is meant to be that each shape that gets pressed has one thing in common with another shape -either the colour, the inner shape, or the outer shape. Yes, many people don't realise this because trial and error isn't too painful, but that's the intended solution.
Okay, but Glimmer's music gives me so much nostalgia that I can't even describe it! I remember playing the original games with my aunt and every time I hear this sound track, I'm reminded those days :D
I hated that level. The stuck up preppy girl voice, the annoying ass bagpipes, and the horrific mini games. I will despise that level until the end of my existence.
This was a really cool and intense video =) Spyro 2 Riptos Rage (or in my case gateway to glimmer) is my favorite game of the spyro series and to be honest one of my two favorite games of all the time, so its always nice to see good content and effort for this game =D And yeah its propably the most easy one out of all the three games to get complete I guess :) it was nice to hear and see all your thoughts about the levels - I can't deny I was surprised for some spots..but it the end it is a subjective decision =) thanks for your effort and for sharing this video with us!

I’m pretty sure the “owh noh” in the Magma Cone soundtrack is a reference to Tiny from Crash Bandicoot (specifically Crash Team Racing). When Tiny gets hurt in CTR, he says OWH NOH… idk what do u guys think?

Hey loved the vid and seeing your opinions. It seems like you were surprised at how simple many of the levels are. I felt that way when I went back too. I'd argue for more respect for Sunny Beach!! It was in the demo so is memorable for a lot of people! And the swimming mechanic was one of the most exciting new things in the game!! :) and everyone loves turtles come on!!
Honestly, I recorded the script over a year ago but didn't have a good enough computer to make the vid at the time lol. A bunch of my opinions have changed a bit
Magma Cone and Metropolis were and still are my favorite levels. I wish they could’ve figured out that weird monster talking part in the OG Magma Cone music for Reignited cause the new one just doesn’t hit or sound right. Great video!
The only thing I didn't like about the Reignited Trilogy, and this is honestly a minor nit-pick, the swimming just feels a bit off, a bit too... floaty, for lack of a better word. Other than that it's absolutely the best way to play these games. I actually still have the Key Chain that came with the game on my key-ring.
watching all of this gameplay was so weird to me. spyro 2 riptos rage was my favorite game as a child, but I cant get myself to play reignited because of the lack of a fixed camera. I've never seen so much reignited gameplay and the characters are so different

There actually is a System involved with the 3rd idol springs riddle. you have to look at the symbols and the corresponding shape of the buttons

Spyro 1 is my personal favorite and the best imo, but you really can’t go wrong with picking any of the original 3 as your favorite
