Funny…high level tennis players who are used to dragging their tennis rackets with aggressive play, trying to baby pickleball paddles is so annoying. Even when paddles have edge guards because everything is plastic and glued together; they break down and crack and separate so easily. I fully understand demand dictates price, but when paddles are the same price as tennis rackets which can last, 5 years, 10 years, maybe a lifetime for some; pickleball paddles are such a huge moneygrab……
Got mine 10mm Invikta. It feels very heavy first of all as the weight navigates towards the head of the paddle. The butt cap is too chunky at the end and really hard to get a good grip. Also they seems to have technology that dampened the sound and you don’t get much popped sound. Gonna take time to get use to it.
