Today is the 8th anniversary of my husband's death. He loved this son and it always brought tears to his eyes and he'd ask me if I knew how much he loved me. I don't know if people can feel that they may not outlive the one they love but it always made me think he knew he wouldn't be here to grow old with me. Today is the 8th anniversary of my husband's death. He loved this son and it always brought tears to his eyes and he'd ask me if I knew how much he loved me. I'd tell him, Yes, Baby, of course, I know how much you love me. I don't know if people can feel that they may not outlive the one they love but it always made me think he knew he wouldn't be here to grow old with me. What's interesting to me is that I was just doing these little quizzes online and I choose to do one that asked me What Country Song was in my heart... It picked this one. Of all the songs it could have picked, it picked one of his favorites on the anniversary of his death. There is always a way to get that message through. I really needed this today. My grandfather who I'd still alive once wrote a letter to him and asked him to come up to our hunting cabin he never responded but yet he still loves his music he's a proud first generation clover farmer.
