To anybody reading this, I pray that whatever is hurting you or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. May the dark thoughts, the overthinking, and the doubt exit your mind may clarity replace confusion. may peace and calmness fill your life.
My husband would turn this song on, look at me and hold out his hand and we would slow dance to it. He was dying of COPD...about 3 weeks before he passed, he turned it on one more time. I looked at him, helped him up from his chair and he literally hung on me, as he was too weak to stand on his own anymore and we shared...one...last...dance. RIP, Robbie...I love you.
I lost my wife of 58 years today. We met in grade school and never looked back. This was our song. Depicted our life to a tee. I don’t know how im going to move on without her. I’m sitting here crying like a baby.
Dude, happy to talk or really just listen, without judging you or her, and don't be afraid I am a dude and 100% straight. I love women, but I understand you feel bad, both of my wife's left me, and that sucks, but my GF is the best lady I have ever met.
I can only dream of having love for as many years as you… sadly im upper 40’s and my best shot will be 20-30 years tops most likely. Stay strong my friend, I feel your pain you’re going through. May God be with you in these times.
She wouldn't of wanted you to be depressed. She is in heaven. Rejoice! God is a loving ,kind One that wants you to be happy. Smile and give someone a compliment today. < It will make your day too! You are loved!
Calvins Khasiani Certainly, in the most difficult moments of life you realize that they are true friends or people who really appreciate you. 😊 Unfortunately, most friendships will leave you but they will still send you a "like", but they don't really take time to read your status if they see it's long. More than half will stop reading here, or have already moved to the next entry in your feed. I decided to publish this message in support of a very special person for me who fought to the end with firmness and energy. Who taught us to live every day as if it were the most beautiful day. Who has filled the world with a beautiful smile. Cancer is very invasive and destructive to our body, even after the end of treatment, its body is still struggling with itself trying to reconstruct all damage caused by radiation. It's a very long process. You don't think it would be nice to see who can relate to what you're going through. Please, in honor of a family member or a friend who died, or is still fighting cancer, or even had cancer, but is cured; copy and paste this text. Everyone says, "if you need anything, don't hesitate to call me, I'll be there to help you". so, I'm gonna make a bet that most of those who saw this post (maybe even read all the way to the end) No, but I think a few of my friends will publish this, to show their support to their family / friend who may be fighting.
Alan Jackson's song Remember When is a gentle ballad about love and the beautiful memories over time. The song portrays the journey from the early days of love to growing together through life, facing change and maturity. The lyrics remind us of the value of moments, the importance of cherishing the past, and eternal love. With its soft melody and heartfelt emotion, the song makes listeners reflect on time and the precious memories in life.
@@moonpxz I'm here an I love this man's music I think he is great an I pray everyday God will heal his medical condition so he can still bring us good music ❤️❤️
I was at a funeral yesterday for a friend. He and his wife were married 60 some years. His wife played this song at the funeral to remember the good times, and to show it was all worth the journey. They both had a strong faith in Christ, and it helped them when life was "disassembled, rearranged". We miss you, "R". We'll remember when...
Sadly, all i hear from my wife is the bad stuff. Really surprised me that that’s what she remembers while I was foolishly comforted by all the good things, and yes, even the hills we climbed…together. That’s okay…she’s not the type to want to hold hands walking the parking lot.
My wife and I were sixteen and eighteen when we wed over forty-four years ago. A lot has passed us by in that time; four children, including twin boys; scary surgeries, the loss of our parents, and one of those much too young, the blessing of grandchildren, retirement... When we listen to this wonderful song we both shed tears.
True love and devotion to each other is a rare thing nowadays. May you be blessed with many more years together and remember each and every day as you walk through life together ❤
Just sat and had a good cry, this was my deceased wife's favorite song that she'd listen to over and over throughout her battle with breast cancer...Sadly I lost the love of my life..We'd do it all again... remember when! Love and miss you Queenie
My dad died earlier today. A man I loved more than any other. He battled cancer for two years, last Feb he was given three weeks to live.He fought for us, his family, to be there for us and for Mum, his wife of 58 years. Luckily, we got to say our goodbyes yesterday, it was the hardest thing I have ever done. I cry now for a man I loved dearly who is now gone, but who left me with the best of memories. He passed in peace, painless having seen us all. Sleep well Dad, I love you now and always.
I am a combat vet from the Vietnam era. While i suffer with ptsd this song eases my pain. There is pure healing in music. This song is the perfect example. Semper Fi
Pray for you,my father went insane because of war ,once in a while a good man emerged, then right back in horror, please love your family make them understand somehow of your moods, but most of all you want peace in your home, anything but horror
My husband and I just celebrated 8 years. We've been through so much together. Job changes, moving, my health issues, his 7 years of sobriety... it's all been worth it because we endured together. Marriage isn't just fairytale romance, easy street. We put work into our education, careers, etc. We should put that same dedication into our love. As long as it's mutual and reciprocated. ❤
Hello, @richardraz, Mr “Dutch normal guy dude” 😂, I agree! Alan Jackson was the reason for my love of “updated” country 🎶 music ♥️. I say “updated”, as I’m an old country girl, who grew up listening to folks like, Loretta Lynn, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, etc.. and, still Lovin me some Great Country music ! No matter how much it’s changed 😬 ! Country music still has some Great stories to tell 👍!
My husband passed away last year. We would dance to this. Now that he is gone, I can still feel his arms around me as I dance alone in my living room where we once danced together. What a life we shared. His birthday would have been July 6th. God I miss him. 😢
Thank you, all of you. I feel I have made some very caring and special friends. I can't thank you all enough for the kind and loving words sent my way. You all are wonderful. 💗
My grandpa passed away last year on October 3. He had severe Alzheimer's and it hurt to see him suffer for 2 years. I know how how you feel losing someone so close. He was my only father figure and he's gone. But hes still loved. Im sorry for your loss and he'll be remembered
Ginger Sue idk you but I planned on leaving a comment cause this song was played for my grandparents at their anniversary years ago and now my grandmother isn’t no longer here and I’ve also lost my wife , my best friend , my soul mate and my rock and I pushed her away cause I was too stubborn and we also have kids together and it’s soooo hard without her or my grandmother cause listening to this song is hard on both situations cause when I first met my wife this song was playing in the car and we was sooo happy but I will say this hang in there cause I’m trying
Im a grown ass man but i cry when i hear this song. I lost my mom to cancer after a 15 year battle, and being her caregiver from when i was 16 to 31. My father drank himself to death 2 years earlier and i found his body on christmas eve. My mom also passed away the day before my birthday. Love every minute of every day because its gone before we know it.
@briandesjardins728 My Heart Breaks for the Path you had been on. You are Proof True Love conquers all. I too spent 24 hours a day 7 days a week for 3 years keeping my Mom clean, healthy and Comfortable so I understand completely what you had to do and how intense as we'll as Heartbreaking it was for you.. I figure I still owe my Mom for giving me Life..no matter how debilitating and intense it got. I'm thinking you are a Kindred Spirit. God Bless you for being a Wonderful Son.
I've always loved this song. Today, I'm listening because my father died a couple day's after Christmas and we're playing this song tomorrow at his funeral. My mom is shook, 60 years together, all the memories and it's over, just like that! Please,if you're reading this, tell people you love them, don't be nervous or afraid, just do it and I promise you won't regret it.❤
I am so sorry for your loss I mean that I pray you will find peace in the fact he is now with Christ I hope you guys honor his memory have a wonderful rest of the year and I'm so sorry for you loss I hope God may watch over you and your family and comfort you in one of the worst times of your life (I don't know if this is I'm sure there may have been others but losing a relative sucks) - Shaun
@ShaunCollier-y6t This is the first really, my grandmother died and we were close but this is the MAN who raised me and taught me everything about life and more! My father was a special person, he did everything with me and my brother, whether it was fishing ,baseball practice, karate, football practice, he didn't want to miss a thing. He was proud of the family that he built and he wasn't afraid to show it, everything was about his family. I'm just lucky to have had a father that loved me with all of his heart and I'm going to miss him dearly! Tomorrow will be the hardest day of my life ! Life will not be the same ever again. 😢
@@elvis777333 Yeah like you said he did everything with you (I haven't lost anyone really close to me I lost my grandmother but I didn't really know her well and I lost one of m uncles but like my grandmother I didn't know him that well either) and you'll never get to talk with him again never tell him how much he meant to you and everything else and that's a hole that you or the world could never fill ever but a famous quote you probably already know "Don't cry because they're gone. Smile because it happened." I know no words I say will make the pain of losing someone like your father ever go away I cry just thinking of losing my parents but just know this at your karate football or whatever he was cheering you on from the sidelines now he'll be cheering you on from the sky I hope God gets you through this rough time and I hope you and your family have a great year. (P.S. there is a song you might like its country I think if you want to call it that but its called 5 More Minutes by Scotty McCreery (I don't know if you've ever heard of the song) and its a beautiful song God Bless and know I'm praying God will help you and your family get over this season.)
@elvis777333 sorry for your loss. You will always have the memories and the piece of mind knowing he loved u and brother and mother with everything he had. Once again sorry for your loss. Prayers to your family
She was 15 I was 16 our first kiss sealed our fate ! At 63 now she is still the brightest star in the sky to me ! 43 years of marriage still loving each other Thank you Jesus for our blessing !!!! Been married for for five years and thought I couldnt be happier, that is until our daughter was born. Now life is grand and i have my wife and daughter to thank for bringing me back from self destruction.
I took custody of my daughter when she was 6 in 1998 skip forward a couple years and my daughter was the one thing that pulled me back from the brink of Destruction had it not been for her sweet voice and the things she said to me at 9 years old was incredible it really touched me I walked away from everything the drugs the alcohol all the people that were in my life that were toxic all because of her. She was my Guiding Light
The "joys" of being together and the "hurt" of being apart. This song makes me cry, especially the verse "old ones die and new are born". I lost my grandparents 26 and 18 years ago, my children were born in 2003 and 2005 and never got to meet them. This song is near and dear to my heart. Along with lots of other people. Here's to the king of country music!
my mom passed away in 2016, sitting there by her bed in ICU watching her struggling to breath, my dad sat there holding her hand, and he sang her this song.. Dad would never sing, but that day he did, and later that night, mom went to be with the Lord. I have not been able to listen to this song without breaking down since then and I don't know if I will ever be able to again.... God I miss her Please don't take life for granted, it is way to short to be full of hatred and anger. If you love someone, tell them, show them, and don't put off until tomorrow, for what is today but yesterdays tomorrow. It's not promised, so don't waste time. Thank you for taking the time to read this, May God bless and keep you

I've always loved Alan Jackson's music. In 2021 I lost my longtime significant other to cancer. Less than 6 months later, I unexpectedly lost my daughter, who had just turned 46. Each time I hear the words, "the sound of little feet," it makes me think of my "little girl" and I start crying. It's been slightly over 3 years now, however, it just seems like yesterday. Thank you for the incredibly beautiful song and video. So looking forward to seeing you again in Fort Worth, TX on 02/15/25.
Good Friends keeps you happy Bad Friends keeps you miserable Worst Friends don't give a crap Best Friends Forever makes happy memories for a lifetime. BFF.....
This is just beautiful and it makes this old guy tear up every time. Married for nearly 50 years to an angel, 2 kids, 4 grandkids and heading into my final years.. Thanks you Alan.
A life well lived with much love, loads of memories made and a legacy for the future, one could not ask for more. I agree with you, this song is beautiful and it deeply touches ones heart.

Man ... how can a song be so sad but so happy. This song makes you want to hug your kids, cry over old pictures, think of memories, and just immediately appreciate what is truly important.
Definitely. This is a tough one for me to listen to. I've been living and working in Asia for the last 5 years. I'm heading back home for a 1 month visit in July. I'm counting the days.🇺🇲👍😢
It's a wonderful song of true love that two persons have for each other. Dear Mr Jackson, I wish one day have the same joy you have in sharing your life with an incredible woman as yours. You're beautiful both. Thanks for this so romantic songs that give me tears each time i heard it. Be blessed you and your wife, May the love never leave your heart.

my husband victor and I celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary by renewing our wedding vows with song for our anniversary dance..beautiful memories now always and forever more..we were married twenty three years before his Lord called him home on February 4..2016..thank you victor..
I’m 70 years old and have been married to the same wonderful woman for 47 years. We are always deeply moved by this song. It makes us glad for all we had.
Yesterday was my wife’s birthday, I shouldn’t have listened to this, 25 years she wasn’t just my wife but my best friend, I lost her 6 years ago. She was a disabled army veteran and was in so much pain and she just couldn’t take the pain anymore. For some reason this year is so hard emotionally, she missed so many amazing things, our two daughters, graduating college, one a teacher now and one a nurse working in the COVID unit, she missed them getting married, she would be so proud of them and what amazing women they have become,

One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard and what a beautiful voice Alan Jackson has. My husband passed away a few days before Christmas and our wedding anniversary in 2020. We were together since we were 17.This song reminds me of our wonderful life together and helps me to be positive in life again. Every night before going to sleep I listen to this beautiful song.
@@georgestrait4396 Hello from the Netherlands. Great that you are taking the time to respond. It's an honor to be a fan. I was also lucky enough to meet the love of my life. This song helps me to process the sadness and to think back to a wonderful life.

I know exactly how you feel. I lost my wife SUSAN 7 years ago. We were married 29 years. I miss her every day. It does get easier but you never forget all the good times you had with your loved one. We played I CROSS MY HEART at are wedding and I played that song at her funeral. Hope your doing well my friend
My husband dedicated this song to us years ago. We met at 14, he was my first, we have 2 children who are grown now and here we are 26 years of love. Man have we been through it. Thank you Mr Alan Jackson. This song fits our marriage and relationship perfectly. It means a lot.
Thank you, Tony. I appreciate it the bottom of my heart. God bless you. May you have a healthy and safe Christmas and with health and happiness new year thank you you
So BEAUTIFUL Michelle ! And most of all so Blessed. I wish I would have Married the girl I fell in LOVE with when I was 17 and she was 14. I still Love and miss her to this day. The GOoD LORD sent me an angel on earth who I have been married to for 15 years, but LORD knows I wish I would have married Teri. Roger Crowder, Austin, Texas
My daughter loved this song so much I played it at her funeral. She was 26 years old and special needs. She's been gone almost 4 years now and I miss her so much everyday!
Bless your heart...I hope time brings you some small comfort but for now sending you hugs and strength and the companionship Alan is bringing us together xx
My husband and I first heard this song when we were starting to fall in love. It was one of our favorite song because it reminded us of the moments we were in. Now, 15 years later married with 3 children and happily married… it holds such a sweet place in our heart!
I have been a closet guitarist and was drawn to contribute to school events as a teacher of English in Cambodia. The first time I ever played with others since leaving school was with the high school band practicing on a Fridaay afternoon. After my first public singing performance of Bob Dylan's Mr Tambourine man someone who was coaching the female singers said he had the perfect song to suit my voice and offered to get the lyrics printed immediately! I had never heard of the song or Alan Jackson but when I was reading the lyrics the tears were getting ready to flood my face. So we sang the song together and since then I have been trying to retain the lyrics in my memory. Tomorrow I am going to sing the song at another school function in Phnom Penh for the forst time before returning to the school I was based at in a regional province near Vietnam before a temporary transfer to Phnom Penh due to a staff shortage. I am very grateful to Alan Jackson for penning this song and to those on here who are sharing how deeply moved they are by it .
Danced to this with my boyfriend before he left for basic training a few days ago. We both cried and it was bittersweet. I’m super proud of him and can’t wait till he comes home Update: 3 years strong with 1 year long distance. Currently in nursing school and he’s currently in ranger regiment #RLTW. We dance to this song on our last night of visits when we do get blessed when one of us can fly out. Update: the boyfriend is now the fiancé, 4 years together, 2 long distance. Finished nursing school, he graduated his special course and now we’re planning a wedding
Hope your boyfriend graduates, it can be tough but he is doing something that most people don't do and that's valor. Valor for his country Valor for his people and best of all Valor for you. I'm just a mere civilian that one day become a Infantry man in the Marine Core but your boyfriend is the sole purpose why this country is still in one peice. God bless you and your boyfriend
I lost my husband in May. This song tells our story. 53 years of marriage. Cancer took him in 6 months. Now I am alone; but this song reminds me of our great love, our life, our joy. Thank you for the song.
I agree Helen. I noticed that we have the same last name. Mine is by marriage of almost 42 years. I lost the love of my life last year on June 2, 2015. I had this song played at his homegowing because it felt like it was written about our life.
@@wh8378 I consider this song to be the best I've ever heard. It says so much in such a short period of time. I'm a fan of the Beatles and have heard really good songs, Michelle, Hey Jude, Something, buuuut "Remember When" by Alan Jackson takes the lead, hands down. Such a PRETTY song... In 4:30 (Four Minutes and 30 Seconds) a life story can be told from beginning to end and basically summed up. If you've had the opportunity to meet, and fall in love with the woman (man) of your dreams, then this song tells all. Sorry to hear about the medical issues that he's facing, as we all do in our brief stay on this planet.
My grandma just passed away after being married to my grandfather for 59 years. Everytime she put this on, he would walk downstairs (bad back and all) and slow dance with her. Didn't matter if they were angry, he would drop everything to dance with her to this. I'm here to grieve her and keep her memory alive. She was my best friend.❤ Update: Grandpa has went up to join her and they are reunited 🪽
Hi,i don't know who you are or live from.I understand you very well : my wife is in a vegetative coma, after a fall at home and one evening looking for country song on youtube, i listened to this song again. The first time was in Oregon ,one evening in our motor home and it struck me. Now i listen to it and i cry remembering a life with my wife Anna . Thank you so much mister Alan .
Im 25 this is definitely a stepping stone im looking forward to cant wait to see how much ive grown and changed I remember playing in the grass or on the swing set or slide when i was little i remember when my parents got a divorce when i was 8 i remember joining the football team at 9 my teens where rough alot of bad choices but at the same time made some really great choices on the way but now 6 years clean from major drugs and my son is four and daughter is 2 man life flys. Always enjoy life good or bad yall just remember everything and be thankful ❤❤❤
This song makes me very emotional, every single time I listen to it. Describes my life, remembering when I saw my wife for the very first time, she was 15 years old and I 17, since our first eyes contact, we knew our lives meant to be together. We found happiness together, we shared so many beautiful moments, and quite a few challenging and sad ones too. 34 years has gone so fast and I glad and so thankful we still leaning on each other. I pray to our Lord to give us many more years together. God bless everyone, be kind out there
I'm currently in the "life was changed, disassembled; rearranged" stage. And while the sound of little feet is truly music, the family members leaving hurts.
Amen to that. Sitting here in the dark, just before midnight, tears rolling down my face. It's kind of a comfort, thinking other folks might be listening with me out there.
Today my wife and I are celebrating our 40th anniversary. I am taking my guitar to the restaurant and playing this for her. Thank God for people who know how to say what I wish I could.
i think of my wife and i . we have 2 boys 22 and 20 . i cry thinking back to when they were little . it flys by . been married 23 years now . i miss those days but i did have those days . i think of those who never had a chance . now that hurts .
I came from a broken home. This song describes the life I should've had but didn't. 61 years old and I ain't got shit. No wife, kids or grandkids and I never will and I blame it on that hellhole I was raised in. I guess I was afraid I'd repeat the cycle.

Great Song. I have 5 kids, they are mostly grown (24,22,21,19,14). My wife and I loved every min of raising them. Still do. I would do it again in a sec and I wouldn't change a thing. It was the best time of my life. Working hard. Knowing that they depended on me. It was the greatest feeling in the world after growing up with out a dad. I might not have done the best job, but I did alright. They are all good adults.
You did the best job being a good dad, your children must be so proud of you Though I'm just 18, it feels like I belong to the old era of country music, this song is as beautiful as life 😊
I meet and married the love of my life in 6 short weeks, we have recently celebrated our 47th wedding anniversary. We have had some mountains to climb, however we have climbed them together. It's not all roses and chocolates, the lesson is, to be there for each other no matter whether it is sunshine or showers. My wife has had much to contend with in her life to date, but she still is able to maintain a positive attitude. I am so blessed and thankful to have her in my life. When we hear this track playing we immediately look to each other and dance. It is so beautifully crafted to encompass the journey that we are all on in a few shorts stanzas. The music that accompanies it sounds healing, melodic and almost heavenly, what a gifted artist. Thank you most sincerely from the bottom of our hearts.
That's so beautiful! It's nice to see some people still love each other unconditionally. I hope you both have many years to come with each other...God bless.
John Picot this story brings tears to my eyes reminding me of the man and woman that took me off the streets at 13years old.. They taught me about family and how love really is supposed to been. They'd been married 52 years Bobby and Fran Bachman thank you for all you done and showed me...He passed away 3yrs ago its saddens my heart but I'm 52 now and will always remember when......They loved this song and also would dance loved you to Allen Jackson....Thank you for all the beautiful music you've brought to all who love our country music...God Bless You and your beautiful wife for songs that we so relate to....We love you Carla Scoggins
I think it's a fallacy to believe that we fall in love just once. After getting over each of life's mountains, we fall in love over and over again. We choose to see the person we fell in love with and we choose to pull them back close again. Congratulations on your journey and your success. I sincerely applaud you.
roger huff Alan Jackson has been around since the late 80s and early 90s. So technically he is 'old country's. I've been listening to him since I was a kid (80s).
I think it’s because the values in our culture are slipping . Fewer people hold onto the morals and principles of earlier generations. Today it’s about sex , less about love, sad to me.
My husband Mike and I were married for almost 43 years. I just discovered this song and it reminds me of us. I was 16 and he was 19. He was my first boyfriend and my only love. We raised 4 beautiful children and had 7 grandchildren. My life is so empty without him. He's missed the birth of 3 more grandchildren, ,5 great grandchildren and the loss of our 22 year old grandson Bubby. I take comfort in knowing that they're together again. But my life will never be the same. Although he's been gone for 8 years, I'll never find another love like I had with him.
I’m 26 years old my pops was addicted to drugs most my childhood and young adult years but he always was there for me and taught me to be a man,he always admitted to his wrongs , he made a change and cleaned up his act for the past 5 years sober and living clean,my pops passed away a month ago while fishing with his family he was 45 years old Idk what really happened but I miss him so much man he never got a chance to be a grandfather to his beautiful little grandkids I gave him a couple years back ,life is short and you never know what’s gonna happen or when it’s gonna happen to the people you love the most,I love you dad I’ll always remember the things you taught me
+Jessica Nalley I am sorry about the loss of your mother. I hope she is in a better place and she is no longer suffering from whatever caused her death.
This song was the first song played at my daughter's wedding dance. I'll never forget it. About every 30 seconds, the singer would say "If you'd been married for a half an hour, leave the dance floor," the next 30 seconds he'd say "If you'd been married for 5 years or less, leave the dance floor." He kept doing that until the last couple - my son-in-law's grandma and grandpa were left dancing alone. It was so heartwarming. 42 years together. :)
I've been listening to this song since it was released. One of the things that drew me to my husband was when he said he wanted someone to grow old with. So, the words to this song "when we turn grey" hits me right in the heart; we never got that. He passed away at 55. He's been gone almost 21 years now and I still can't listen to this song without getting tears or actually out and out crying. But it's a healing cry.
"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." Rev. 21:4
sorry to hear that i lost my great grandfather 8 yrs ago this december and i was hoping to have him here when i graduate highschool but thats not going to happen. My great grandmother managed to grow old with him but thats not like that for others
I'm 32 years old, a big rap and hip hop fan. But this song will always have a place in my heart, I haven't experienced starting family yet and being married, but this song makes me feel as I have. I cry every time I hear this song. Probably the best country song ever made, to me. I hope one day I can listen to this song as an old man, with a loving wife and family to appreciate 🙏🏼
@Alma Francis I think I can understand your feelings. In fact, you enjoyed the bliss with your love for 28 years ... how lucky you are! Treasure your love for him in your heart and live happily with your 3 kids.
Soon enough you will find your one and only and will be starting your own family keep the faith God is starting writing your own beautiful love story 💗🙏
My husband and I would slow dance to this song in the living room of our house. The night before he was killed we danced to it. November 19th 2004. I played it at his wake and funeral. Now I hear it and watch the video and know that , that was the way our lives were to be. I will forever miss my husband Tim. Thank you Alan Jackson for all the wonderful memories we made listening to this song and your music.

To anyone who reads this, hear my message. Life has a strange timeline. It can end tomorrow or 70 years from now. There will always be a day when an unforseen opportunity arises, but it's up to you to reach out and grab it. Whether it be a career change, a better life choice, or that special person you didn't know you were waiting for. You might only have one chance to take it, or you'll lose out forever. Be the person who says, "Remember when that happened? One of the best moments of my life." Anyway, I hope you read and understand my message. Have a good day and a better one tomorrow.
As you were writing this, I was almost getting divorced, we made up, God, the Lord we just embraced in our hearts will keep us alive and together! I love my husband! And I know he loves me too. Were just very broken people.
@@priscilastephens9783 Do you know what the great thing about being broken is? It gives you the chance to repair and improve, as long as you're willing to try. I hope things go well for you and your husband, no matter what path you choose to take.
I am listening in November 2016.I love this song. It was first song I heard after walking out of hospital when my true love had just passed. She was half my age but are hearts and spirit were one and it was never a sexual relationship. The thing she wanted most was to have babies and make a family. She never got that chance.
Kaleb Frick sorry for your loss yes its hurts but as time goes by it get a little easyer she will always be in your heart like my husband always in my hurt its getting easy on me now
My great-grandparents were married for 81 years and died 16 days apart and this is the song that we chose to play for their funeral which we had together because of the way the circumstances happened. They taught me that when something is broken you fix it you do not throw it away. I wish people still held to that value system our world would be a different place.

You had me until you mentioned Christ. Sorry but dosen't exist. That makes it more sad.
Sadly, all i hear from my wife is the bad stuff. Really surprised me that that’s what she remembers while I was foolishly comforted by all the good things, and yes, even the hills we climbed…together. That’s okay…she’s not the type to want to hold hands walking the parking lot.

@@tracyhosking4539 Hello, greetings from Canada. How are you doing today?
This his best song in my opinion. It's the story of life.
It's only been a day for you but a very emotional song you might like is "Man of the hour" by Pearl Jam. Best to you and your family.

Every time I listen to this, I get a feeling I can’t explain. Nostalgia, sadness, happiness, loneliness, and excitement all in one
I didn’t think someone could put it into words
You're experiencing a lifetime of emotions. That's the magic of this song; it manages to encapsulate a whole life in several minutes.
Just the same here, this song is full of sense and feelings.

I’m 70 years old and have been married to the same wonderful woman for 47 years. We are always deeply moved by this song. It makes us glad for all we had.
Wow 47 years you two are a testament of how to do it right. Your love is moving.

We were together since we were 17.This song reminds me of our wonderful life together and helps me to be positive in life again. Every night before going to sleep I listen to this beautiful song.

My husband and I first heard this song when we were starting to fall in love. It was one of our favorite song because it reminded us of the moments we were in. Now, 15 years later married with 3 children and happily married… it holds such a sweet place in our heart!
Time sure does wonderful things, but also sad it doesn't last very long before you blink the kids are grown and the wrinkles are thick. 😭

I think it's a fallacy to believe that we fall in love just once. After getting over each of life's mountains, we fall in love over and over again. We choose to see the person we fell in love with and we choose to pull them back close again. Congratulations on your journey and your success. I sincerely applaud you.

One of the best moments of my life."

A man needs to cry sometimes! This is the song!
a man needs to cry, each time he have the needs to do it. When we keep our tears it's not good for our mental health.
I am listening in November 2016.I love this song. It was first song I heard after walking out of hospital when my true love had just passed. She was half my age but are hearts and spirit were one and it was never a sexual relationship. The thing she wanted most was to have babies and make a family. She never got that chance.
I'm sorry for your loss.
Patrick Hall thats so sad I hope you and here will meet again in the kingdom of heaven and she has what she wants most
her not here
thats so sad im sorry for your loss i hope you will meet her in heaven
Kaleb Frick sorry for your loss yes its hurts but as time goes by it get a little easyer she will always be in your heart like my husband always in my hurt its getting easy on me now
My great-grandparents were married for 81 years and died 16 days apart and this is the song that we chose to play for their funeral which we had together because of the way the circumstances happened. They taught me that when something is broken you fix it you do not throw it away. I wish people still held to that value system our world would be a different place.
Thanks for being a loyal fan and supporting my music 🎶 ❤I appreciate you all 🙏
