And if you want over the top plot armor have you seen The Meg? Jason Statham goes up against a Megalodon and comes out of the film without a scratch. This movie, the two lead characters, both a man and a woman, have plot armor and come out of it without a scratch. Now, if you want a Shark movie where the main character is busted up so bad that the actor actually got hurt while filming it go check out The Shallows. Underrated film which is effectively a one woman show and it's painful to watch due to how much punishment the lead character takes.
Jaws will always be the best. Imo best shark movie since Jaws is 47 meters down. All shark movies are a fun watch, even the really bad ones because I enjoy so bad they're good movies lol

R.I.P. Julian Sands. There are many things about this movie I like. The acting, plot is decent, even CGI is arrite. But what ruins it a littlebit for me... I was expecting this to take place a bit... deep down in the ocean, but it's like they are in a pool. Finding a warship at those " depths " where no one else has... ehhhh...
