To go by train, you get off at Leuchars station and there are regular buses (every 10 minutes or so) which make the short trip to St Andrews. A very pleasant train journey from Edinburgh, Dundee or Kirkcaldy.
It´s been a joy to see St Andrews again. 💗 It´s been a long time since I went there, but I remember it very well. One of my favourite memories is seeing a newly wed Scottish couple, i.e. the bride wore white and the groom a kilt. So awesome! 😍
@MeanderingMena >>> _GEEKY_ question of the day: While you were there, did you notice if that boat in the foreground at about 01:04 in this video was a catamaran {or multihull}? {And YES, these kinds of questions REALLY DO pop into my head from time to time...😊} *EDIT→* At about 02:10 in this video: I noticed the boat closest to you with the orange hulls is a catamaran. {And ALSO YES, me saying "hulls" and THEN saying "catamaran" is like saying *"WATER WET, SKY BLUE, FIRE HOT."* 🤭}
@MeanderingMena >>> FWIW, regarding your comments about the sea: I have been living in northeastern North Carolina, approximately an hour's drive to the NC Outer Banks and Atlantic Ocean, since 1995. However, I was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida. I also lived in Dade County, Florida {sort of} near Miami for seven years. Having grown up and lived near the water sort-of _becomes a part of you._ The idea of living 100s of miles inland seems _foreign_ to me. A few years ago, my now-adult daughter -- who currently lives in central North Carolina -- said something similar about living further inland. And I had not said anything to her about it at the time.
So many artistic, aesthetic touches.

That’s right! Lots to different options on how to get there depending on where you originate, and it’s always a lovely little day trip🎉
