You did a great job introducing her to her new boots. The little bit of walking around on a leash in your living room was an excellent idea. It was also great that you didn't bring laughter into her training steps. They know our emotions better than we think they do. She'll be running around outside in her boots in no time. Good job, Mom and Dad!!!! 💖

🤣🤣My gsp did the same. We got them for hunting. Where we hunt birds has the same rocky terrain. She didn't like them but finally kinda got use to them. She wanted to hunt so she left them alone. Those rocks are so harsh. Your male isn’t having it 😂. He’s like “no”. It’s so funny how they don’t like shoes as if it’s in their way or something. Tundra did well but now she runs away when she see the shoes 🤣.
I will always love German Shorthaired Pointers. I had one when I was young and he was such a great dog. They are very smart and almost as sweet as my current Lab. 🙂
It is hilarious to watch dogs learn to use boots! Your dog did great! We started with neoprene booties on our Lab when she was tearing up her soft-sided pool with her front paws. She got used to them so quickly, that if one fell off in the pool, she would bring it to me in her mouth to put back on. We now use them on beaches where there are stickers or if the ground is too hot or has ice on it. She surprisingly does really well with them too. The brand you have look great and easier to put on than the ones we have.
Thank you. It was hilarious. Your lab is so adorable bringing back the boots to let you put it back on 🥰. Glad to see the boots work well for you guys.
I live in a snow belt in Ontario, Canada. Dogs here need shoes because if the ice & snow don't get to them, the road salt and dirt will. It's so important to train dogs when they are young enough to adapt!
I miss our GSP SOOO much! we lost her and my dad in 2019. Im not surprised she went after him, they were very much soul bonded. One of the best dogs you can have. Your girl looks SO much like our Gracie and I adore watching your videos!

What a sweetheart. She obviously is very comfortable with you guys and loves you! Those look like great shoes! Definitely loved the chase and run around the next day. Fantastic pup you have there!
In college, I had a classmate who had a service dog and when it started getting colder that dog had no problem wearing a coat under her service vest, a completely unbothered perfectly trained service dog, but she forever walked funny in her winter boots for ice and summer booties for asphalt. Glad to see your pupper got used to them so quickly. I think the "one boot off" seemed to work out great for her.
Love how real pets, real people & real experiences are captured on yt channels. I'm old enough to recall advertisements for products where everyone was fake. Not so with this video & your dog & you. Too funny. Thanks for sharing
She must be amazed at her sudden grip on that wooden floor, no more sliding round chasing her ball. So thoughtful looking after your dogs paws like this.
