Just found this one. Tundra reminds me a lot of our Riley. Looks like Tundra is a teensy weensy spoiled ;-) My family goes back over 70 years with this breed, and we know enough to spot a good GSP family, which you certainly are. God bless you for providing such a great home for her, and sharing her with us.
GSP's are so much alike.... I've had 3 over the years and my oldest is 13, I've had him since he was 8 weeks old. He's my baby dog. All 3 are the joy of my life (besides my actual kiddos😂)
I'm 73 I've had 4 shortairs over the yrs. My dog now is 13 he's been a great dog. Still holds beautiful point. But we both walk with a limp.but there the best.
Tundra is just the cutest girl ever 😍Our boy GSP hates being picked up, it shatters his little ego and he has to do "alpha" things afterwards to re-establish his dominance 😂😂
Tundra is such a good girl. I know it took time for her to let you bath & cut her nails. It took forever with mine. Her face is so expressive. It's their eyes. It cracks me up when they are disgusted with something you did. Like not giving her the chip right away. 🤣💜🐾🐾🐾
It took us quite sometime for her to let us bathe and trim her nails. Very frustrating at first but she’s great now. Her expressions are hilarious. She is so bad at not letting us know how she truly feels 😂😂
❤trundra was such a good girl at letting u do her nails she’s came a long way since whn u first started to do thm my younger one won’t really let me do thm much I have to do whn she’s asleep 😂 and really good girl bath time except thy go mad after whn wet 🥰😍😊but there so funny 😂and as for eating ours are the same but we always give in and share 😂❤because after all there are babies 😍🥰😀are family 😃
Tundra has come a long way. Sometimes we wonder how she became so good 😂😂. I guess it’s her growing up and being a lot more mature. The nail cutting is one of the hardest to overcome. She would not let us get the trimmer close. It’s so hard to eat and not give her any. If we could we would give her everything since she is our baby 🥰🥰
I can't believe you got her to hold still for the shower and the nail trim. Mine don't want anything to do with either of those. Mine like to go swimming but showers or rain, no way.
She was decent with her baths but she has her days. Sometimes she would pace around but what I’ve noticed is to be calm and she will eventually relax. The nail trimming took us months. She would not let us come near when she see us with the trimmer. We tried using the toy/treats to get her mind off it but it didn’t work. We almost gave up and wanted to take her to the vet for trimming because it was so frustrating. We kept trying and she eventually gave in. With no toys/treats or anything.
@@tundrathegsp My GPS goes out to potty in a thunderstorm with lightening. He wanted to go and I let him out just to see the outcome (completely relaxed). I have had a few and the others wanted nothing to do with storms, usually hid in the basement.
Hi, we have never done crate training with Tundra. What we did was put her in her crate when it’s nap and bedtime. Now that she’s older we do not use the crate anymore.
@@tundrathegsp Try leaving the door open, say kennel, start gradual and give treats and praise. Never push or show any disappointment with puppies. The kennel is a safeplace that can be a good place. I had a puppy that cried every time I closed the door at night, so I left it open for awhile at night then she was fine. The 3rd day I brought her home I had two beds and would say platform, she would go to the other platform, then I said kennel and she would go. I have a video and it is crasy to think how smart she was at 9 weeks old. Dog are either food or toy driven or both, use them to train and praise often. Train one on one with no distractions, and only a few minute at a time. Train before meals and use treats. If you are close to the breeder, take a blanket and have the mother sleep on it, if you put that in the kennel it will help.
He's saying he used his as a gun dog. I am teaching my 4 month old pup to retrieve and also be a part of the family. If a dog is loved they are definitely not a waste. Maybe a little spoiled but oh well. To each their own. I feel kinda sorry for Neville's dog@@tundrathegsp

It’s All in with a GSP, they’re your life partner, it takes a while to get used to them, but they are just the best
Totally agree. We’re all she has and we’ll make sure to give her the best life possible.

I feel like you’re describing my gsp lol
Nice video- some very familiar characteristics with my gsp!
Lola must be a handful as well 😅
My dog is turning 7, and he still does the same things 😂

One happy Tundra GSP
New GSP owner!! any tips for crate training as we get this whole process going?

You need to give tundra some
😆😆 yep
Leg day gainzzzz
Leg day once a year
I swear they all have the same tendencies, mannerisms, and body language lol

😄
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Ok, our GSP’s are exactly alike except….you can clip those nails! Consider yourself lucky there. I cannot get this into his head.
Keep trying. Your GSP will soon realize that it isn’t so bad.
Tundra is 3/4 human and 2/5 dog
Had a GSP and worked it...where they are supposed to be.... never once needed to shower it. Waste of a good dog.
Where does your GSP work at? How come you don’t bathe him/her?

Oh, no, don't feed her the food you're eating. Bad, bad, bad, lol.
Lol…She is perfectly fine 😊
