If you like Tim Foust's bass, check out his collaboration with Peter Hollens on "Misty Mountain" from "The Hobbit". You can't loose with most anything you do from Home Free.

Home Free and Pentatonix are the best acapella groups out there. Just a personal choice to which group is someone's favorite. Personally prefer the richness of Home Free.
Agree.. with one caveat. There is a trifecta. Pentatonix, Home Free and Voice Play. Each one has a slightly different slant, but they are tops. Geoff Castelucci, Avi Kaplan and Tim Faust are frequently giving each other props. They arrange for each other as well. Penta tends toward pop, HF has country down, VP leans to musicals/disney. All worthy.

That's from Adam Chance -- called Chance because there already was an Adam in the band when he joined -- in the black vest sounding like a jews harp, also called a jaw or mouth harp. You can see him doing it in the closeup on the tale end of the video. And I have to ask if you've reacted to Mayday by Home Free. I think you're ready for it now.

Yeah, Adam isn't a human. He can mimic just about anything. But he taught Austin to not play the harmonica too and now they sit not playing harmonicas together.

You should check out some of Adam Rupp’s beatbox solos. They will show you what he can do. Once you see that, you can check out 9 to 5 + beatboxing, and you’ll see what ALL the guys can do with that.

From what I understand, in live concerts Austin (the tenor that started this off) joins Adam Rupp (the beatboxer we affectionately call the 'Freak of Nature') in the harmonica solo part. Adam Chance (just called Chance to avoid confusion) is the one doing the sound of the mouth harp. To get a SMALL taste of what Adam can do, check out one of his 'drum'solos. The man has swallowed a drum kit, and snacks on other instruments so he can 'play' them for us at will. Oh, and he also has a beautiful voice, and can harmonize just as well as the others. I'll let other Home Fries give suggestions for songs -- it doesn't matter WHAT song you pick, OR what genre it's in, you won't go wrong. One caution -- if you decide to keep reacting to Home Free, do NOT do Mayday until you get to know each of our guys and their voices and styles of singing. When you can put names to the voices with your eyes closed, THEN do Mayday. We can ALWAYS tell when someone picks Mayday too soon. Yes, it's amazing on its own merits, but you'll miss the truly jaw dropping moments if you listen too soon. Trust me, it's worth the wait!
