I’ve recently unearthed a large garden bed, created by the previous owner who passed away in her 90’s. She was an avid gardener I’m told. The property was left overgrown for the last 20 years. I dug up a dozen of these clay cylinders in the garden bed. I’ve been unable to figure out what they were used for until your video!!!! I will now move them to our raised beds to protect my baby cold crops. 😊 hello from NE.
I am planning a strawberry bed in my future bigger garden. So I'd love more information. When you say, you "clear" a section of your June bearing bed... do you compost the "older" plants? Or what do you do with the ones you remove?
Thank you for all the great new info on planting. I grow Albion strawberries and they are amazing. I’m new to it. 2 yrs starting my 3 rd. I had 5 to begin with now I have 30!!! My onions never get really big but taste great. Thank you again. I’d love to compost but it seems way too hard and I dint have a big area. I put compost on the soil this last fall and cover with seed free straw and it was amazing soil when I uncovered it this spring
Need all the gardening tips we can get. Doing raised beds this year with my teen daughter as her homeschooling project this year. She wanted to focus on planting vegetables on her own so these videos are very helpful to us both. As always thanks for sharing in your sweet adorable way❤. God bless

Beautiful day! I just planted cardinal basil and variety flowers. I just bought organic soil brand Kellogs but it has a lot of little pieces of wood i dont like it.
