After this all you will need is a gazebo and a meandering river with small boats for people to lay back and enjoy it all. Caleb, you are fun to watch and easy to learn from. Thank you for sharing.
a new bed, a new adventure - how wonderful. I love, love, love the limestone edging!! Looking forward to seeing what new plants you have selected and how you will place in, what we all know, we be a beautiful pathway to wander and ponder and chill. You are creating a marvelous oasis for sure !!! thanks for sharing it all with us - I am encouraged and inspired, and now have to get out and do some planting myself.
I second that request. I was thinking, is there a secret club or hidden market place for these pieces? I never see them in antique shops or yard sales.
I agree! Those statue busts are very intetesting! Is there a history or story behind them? (One of them reminded me of the likeness of Esmeralda from the Hunchback of Norte Dame).
Hey, I am new here. This was inspiring because I am at the same point where I don’t have the money to completely finish my dream but it’s OK to have a starting point. I’m even having to do in smaller chunks. But I can tell in just three years how far I have come. I love the ideas.
I have a similar idea for my backyard but on a much smaller scale. The pea gravel walkway and a flower bed along my fence. I love that you get to show us the whole process. I'm excited to see it complete!
I live in northeast Iowa and have not been able to find Land and Sea compost. Will you please share where you were able to purchase yours? Thank you for your wonderful videos. 🌸
Lynne here from Canada 🇨🇦 I love how you explain your process. This bed is going to be amazing and I’d love to know more about the stone busts, there must be a cool story there.
Amazing! The design ideas that you have implemented do not detract from the architectural feel of your house and the grounds (and surrounding landscape), it truly compliments it!! I am looking forward in your next clip when you install your plants!
Oh, how I miss the Iowa soil! This is such an exciting project - I love your vision. I agree that the attention to detail and extra labor at this stage will pay off in the long run.
Awesome! Can't wait for the next video. It's going to be gorgeous! Also timely for us...putting in some new beds also and I didn't know how to amend. Wish I had that Iowa dirt! Wisconsin clay.
Just found you last week and as a fellow Eastern Iowan I'm so excited to see someone with your artistic garden aesthetic and quality content here! This garden bed is gorgeous. Can't wait to see what you plant!
Caleb, it’s all looking wonderful and I can’t wait to see the beds when they’re all finished! One question - will it be difficult to keep the limestone gravel in place on the path? I have a vision of you having to sweep the gravel back onto the path due to foot traffic disturbing it. Or, is it sealed somehow to prevent that from happening? Just curious…
w0w omg this is going to be a amazing. Can't wait to see how this turn out over the years. ♥♥♥ Those Statues of Winter Spring Summer and Fall statues in your garden once again this New Stone Walkway amazing. Thanks for sharing
I love that path so, so much, and I would pirouette on those millstones all day.
Very nice I love the statuary, it's like walking along the hall of presidents or ancestors 👍👏😊I'm excited to see the plantings!

So fun!!! Landscaping and making it your own. Creating beauty around you.
I love that you add architectural salvage pieces to your garden. It’s really taking on a vibe of an Italian garden at an old villa.
