That air-cooled flat six sends chills down my spine. Can't imagine what it must feel like in person.
Using a supercharger is a pretty good idea. Great power increase but the exhaust sound of the flat six still comes through unfiltered. Nice.
And the best thing is it still retains the instant throttle response

Oh I hope not. The new Top Gear has been sutch a letdown, that they would have to get actual car enthusiast on the show to make it even close to what it ones was.
I prefer UA-camrs doing more serious reviews in UA-cam. To make Alex fit in Top Gear, they would have to get other UA-camrs so the energy would match.

Well, after spending top dollar on “modernizing,” you should definitely feel amazing. As a bone-stock 89 3.2 owner, it is sad to lose one more original 911.

Well presented and filmed but I prefer my 911s to be NA or Turbo. There's just something that jars about supercharging a 911. For the money I'd prefer a 993 based Kaege Retro. Nevertheless, I wish Theon well and hope the owner enjoys many happy miles.

Another beautiful 911 upgrade (soooo expensive, but if you’ve got the money, fill your boots!).
Looks like at least the third UA-cam channel to use “Harry ‘EVO’ Metcalfe’s - not so secret - test route now (Harry + Number 27 + AutoTrader). I imagine the locals & the local constabulary will be keeping close tabs on vehicular activity now.

I was hoping it was going to have a supercharger sound, but that Centrifugal supercharger makes it sound turbo'd rather than supercharged... but it's still cool.

Would have loved to have heard it with a roots or twin screw (definitely not practical to add to a Porsche though, so I get it)

Oem plus is just am overpriced scam. I don't care how good it drives and handles. These oem plus companies that modernize amazing legendary past cars. So many companies redo vintage porsches. It's redundant at this point
Are honestly imo scammers. I have seen many of them over the years. And all of them overpriced their cars so much. It would be better to just buy the classic car yourself and mod it at a good shop

Amazing car. Not supercharged though. Want a medium Lotus racing green metallic paint with the Porsche logo on the doors in yellow with standard yellow vertical lines above and below. But instead of a supercharger (old school) check into the future with battery boost and lightbar front/rear taillights. Then the universe will calm knowing a new 911 is in perfect synchrony with the past and the future.

All the roads in the World and you used the one from Harry’s Garage. C’mon guys, there’s enough space for both on UA-cam for both channels without the need to overlap on the same 100ft of public tarmac.

This video screams “We the people don't want modern cars with modern car design. We want old car design with modern car technology.” And that's why companies like Theon exist.
...would advise against calling it a Viagra. Likely to involve a legal wrangle and it probably wouldn't stand up in Court. Also, the one clear shot of a wheel shows the bottom of the Porsche shield not aligned to the tyre valve. That's a no-no. Porsche main dealers are instructed to do this on all cars they sell, and it's a concours mark loser if not done, too. correctly.
Nice but it's already been done by two different people in L.A. Will there be any originals left at this rate. This does however appeal to my OCD. Another flavour of the air cooled Porsche 911.
Lovely car. But your driving license is at jeopardy long before the red line in 2nd gear. The three subsequent gears are just different levels of overdrive :(

I really like this car, inside and out and under the hood! Very elegant design that updates the original car tastefully. I like the Singer cars too, but compared to this they seem a bit OTT.

Ok im more for super chargers because of the sound. Turbos are nice but they don’t have the sound of a NA car like a super charger quit does.

RUF and 9FF both do similar, super fast, restomod stuff. Amazing....some of the quickest cars on the road.
