I get clowned on doing these stretches, but’s it’s way better than crying from pulling a muscle because I didn’t stretch correctly. Thank you mate! You’ve helped me develop a routine on the field and I am more confident on and off the pitch.
Thanks mate! Absolutely the same for me - people find it funny to begin with, then it's always interesting that lots of them start to join in after a while!! Keep smashing it mate
Yeah I’ve realised I needed a good stretch routine. I’m a decent keeper but recently noticed It takes me awhile to get up to speed when playing which can be costly at times
I've been using your 30-min routine almost daily since last year and I'm the oldest, and most flexible player on my 3 rec teams. These videos are truly underappreciated. Can't wait to see more!
This video helped my goalkeeping improve a lot, got me nice and loose to get on the field. I found this so helpful, I do this twice a week day, morning and evening. Thank you Conor O’Keefe, you’re my favorite goalkeeper.
Thanks for the vid! Found out I’m as flexible as the broom in the corner of my room. Some of these exercises seem impossible for me and would cause major injuries if I would do them. Will start with baby steps though!
It's tough to be a sub GK.. Try asking the coach what you need to work on in order to get an opportunity, and work on those areas. If they don't really give you any feedback, it might be time to try and look for somewhere else to play
Just seen you’ve signed for Macclesfield mate!! You play my team FC United of Manchester not this Saturday but the 1 after at our place! Will be great if you could say hello if it’s not segregated!🙂
Thank you this really helped. I use this every morning before school 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽😄😄😄😄😄can you make a video on how to talk to your wall on a free kick
Yo Conor I love ur vids with Kieran also do you have any tips for diving cause today when I was warming up I didn’t want to dive that much also I want to dive with my left but like I hold myself back from doing it
Thanks mate - do some drills where you start from kneeling, and get used to the diving movement & landing. Then you can slowly build up to standing, stepping into it, then pushing off!
i looked it up on youtube a few years back there was this futsal tutorial as they do it alot so maybe look for somthing like that but genrally just get really flexible groin and hamstring then get into the position alot to get comfortable with it .
Hey Conor, I'm from India and there is rainy season going on currently. All grounds/stadium are close so can you make a video on footwork and handling drills can be indoor. Thank you 😺😸
I have a question unrelated but I'd you don't mind awnsering it wether in a video or through comment section. I've heard that modern day goalkeepers should be good on their feet and so I was wondering is ball mastery drills or even just simple dribling drills are a good addition to one's training.
Hello Conor, I am amateur goalie here in Estonia, and recently am coming back from terrible knee injury (ACL, MCL, PCL, meniscus). I now have problems diving towards the repaired knee side, any tips on this?
Sorry to hear that mate, but glad you're making a recovery. Build up the technique again slowly; start with diving from your knees, and get used to the movement/fall. Slowly progress up to feet, and then finally to pushing into a takeoff. It takes time to build up the technique & the physical ability, so be patient with yourself
@@ConorOKeefe thank you for your reply mate, appreciate it a lot. Thank you for your content and amazing videos, and you’re right - i need to get used to the movement and falling first, will keep working.

Popped up on my recommended did it 20 minutes before my trials played the best I think I’ve ever played
That’s brilliant, what a great comment! Thank you mate, and well done!! Keep on smashing it!
Exactly what I’m doing now with same timeframe 😅 wild

Brilliant to hear, thanks Erland! Keep up the great work
Great stretch i love to follow it!
Great that you found it helpful!
I always enjoy your in depth stretching I do see a big difference when I play stretched vs no stretching
Thank you mate, me too, it's a non-negotiable for me now before any session or game
They help a lot when there isn't much time to warm up properly. Top video Conor
Definitely! Thank you mate

Youre the goat. I love the content
Thanks so much mate!
Just finished this, kickoff in 30 minutes.
Hope it helped!
Thank you but I have one question I have osgood schlatter and it hurts when I play what should I do
Try and see a physio if you can, and get a rehab programme to help strengthen the area!
@@ConorOKeefe thank you
Going to use this today before a big game!

Please, my brother, upload a video for us about calf muscle exercises❤️
Your groin muscles must be rubber bands at this stage 😂 that mobility!

Can I do the same exercise after a match to improve post match pain keepers go through
Yes! It will definitely help to reduce post game DOMS!

Hopefully some news soon!
Can I do these for morning strech? I am also a goalkeeper.
Of course! They will definitely help!
What stretch I can do to get flexible to do a one v one spread save. Like the one that almost looks like your doing the splits

Search 'Indoor Drills for Goalkeepers' I have a video called that which should be able to help!
Thanks
By the way great trainer
Thank you!
Can I do activation and mobility after this stretch or before?
I normally do these stretches before anything else!

Ball mastery is always helpful, but the best thing is working on your first touch, pass selection & pass execution!

Yes of course! Any amount of stretching is good!
Great video bruh enjoyed it keep it up 👍👍
Thank you mate, glad you liked it!
Hi Conor, what did you do during your teenage years to get to 6 foot?
There's not much you can do really with regards to growing, unfortunately. Just make sure you eat well, drink well, and get the proper amounts of sleep!
Any gk needs this does wonder
Do it before every match. Even more important at 40+ YO!
Love it! Really glad that you find it helpful!
Like bro these look like stretches Spiderman would do but they help out like a ton
Haha I reckon he'd be a decent GK!
Great routine but as someone who does Yoga years thanks for the video as now I ⚽can get my 12 year old son to do Yoga without him knowing 😎🥰👍
Ahh great idea, it's very important for GKs!
How can I memorize all of these routine without watching video
The more you do it the more it’ll get stuck in your head
You watch it when you need to
You signed for a club yet Conor?
You guys will know as soon as I do!
Ive heard noises I've never heard before lmao
First
Nope
If I lay down in my changing room I get Ebola at minimum
Very good point...
