I'm actually working on a 1:1 scale Acclamator right now and have been wondering how I would make the ramps. Your Ship To Ground Deployable Ramp is the most impressive airtight door I've ever seen and I'm trying to figure out how to integrate the same principles.
If you head to my workshop, the basic version of this ramp without the full logic is released as [BUG REPORT] (or something) with a really bad image. if you just want to look at how this is created :D
@christianhessc sorry m8, this took weeks to build and the logic can't be done up to standard due to a merge bug with event controllers. If you want to tear it down it is currently on my workshop (called event controller bug report or something like it) After the bug hit i got a little too demotivated to continue, so the project is currently on hold until further notice.

Kennet! Need more info on how the plates slide like that, stacked as they seem... Got hinges or rotors underneath? Awesome!
Indeed, rotors are used as spacers, it goes plate, rotor pointing down, 2x pistons pointing forward, new plate, repeat

It just sucks its not air tight but none the less, this is peak space engineers.

@timeis247 indeed, once closed and merged, this ramp is 100% airtight
more info, look un real, 4 blocks on top of each other and yet so thin, it doesn't seem real! how more in detail
Tldr: Rotor stacking for small gaps :D
