I am so friggin glad her current label is just letting her create HER art with the freedom she DESERVES & without dictating that it should be one genre or another. I prefer the heavier stuff but my god she's killing it right now. ❤
Poppy's tried major labels. Most recently with Republic. They did exactly JACK SHIT for her career. Left her high and dry. Probably because she refused to just be a pop princess @@exl13
there are two more pop songs and there will probably be 4 more in her show on veeps. the production is simpler there but these songs are still nice to listen to
@@jakehowathmsp2098 tracklist leaked before they're all around us released, and some tracks were revealed via music magazines talking about the album and general genres of the tracks
there is a few more pop songs besides crystallized, 'yesterday' is an interlude but its another pop song and its right before crystallized as well as 'hey there' which is an interlude from the album that she has only made available on youtube
Crystallized seems like a really good song to me, and I feel like it would fit in with the rest of the album. Cause almost always metalcore albums have a soft song that can become synthpop, like "who are you" in the Death of Peace of Mind from bad omens.
I totally get what you mean I liked the cost of giving up but I did think it would be a lot heavier and Crystalized is one of only three pop songs on the album I’m pretty sure. Nonetheless I’m really excited for the album and They’re all around us still has to be my favorite!
Poppy is the queen of Post Genre, she does what she wants, which is what makes her great! She will never be a full on Metal artist, people need to understand that, Poppy is too diverse it would be a sell out if she did.

on the other hand the label is not strong enough to make the whole world listen to it. and the world deserves it

@@exl13 very true! But I feel that she has the drive to go really far in her own right
I'm sad to hear all the dragging on Crystalized. I am a metalhead through and through, but I LOVE that song so much
'Crystallized' and 'Vital' are the only pop songs on the new record according to what she said in interviews! Everything else is either metal or punk
@@popsarg 'Yesterday' interlude is also pop!

'yesterday' has not come out yet but a few music magazines have described it as "delicately delivered pop"
I really liked crystallized 😍

Very true. Excellent point!
the second crystalized started i knew i would love it. theres a lot of bands playing this goth synth pop that screams 80s. goood 80s
Jordan Fish synth pop slaps
Crystallized is the best single imo
one thing about poppy is she never sticks to one genre lol

I also heard the centers falling is her heaviest song yet so I’m claiming that track 🤞
