Then you loose your crypto. If you setup the wallet with the seed phrase option, you have that as a last shot aswell. Just make sure to store your cards in different locations and you'll most likely be fine. :)
If you lose all three you are dumb.....you buy another set of three when you lose 2...open the new wallet ant tfer from your 3rd card..otherwise you are screwed and deserve to be😂
Having Tangem wallet is pretty identical to having seed phrase, but what make Tangem more secure than seed phrase is it acts like an invisible seed phrase whereas actual written seed phrase is less secure when it's accidentally found by someone. Even if you stamped your seed phrase on metal plate, and when you loose it, you are also screwed.
if someone find the 12 words which is seed phrase, what the person can do with it? even if it's a hacker how it will know for which wallet it was generated?
Even though the app needs the key through the card to give access to the coins, dont you feel safer when your big bags are in a cold wallet which is away from mobile phones and internet? Or these are just my fears?
I get what you mean, but your private key is still offline. The wallet itself will never be away from the internet, because it is on the blockchain. It is the private key which you want to have offline.
I think I can use the card in my daily life regardless of the seed phrase (the 12 words are really a last resort, written down separately and kept in a bank safe). My question is, if I choose the seed phrase option, will it prevent me from using other features of tangem?
What do you mean by other features? Don’t think your option with seed phrases will affect certain tangem features. I’m not 100% certain so contact the Tangem support and they’ll have a complete answer👍🙂
No your phone really does not matter. For someone to access your crypto they need: One of your cards, the tangem app on a device that supports NFC, your access code.
I also mix in fakes and change my bags every day when I go out. I previously bought a WOC Caviar dupe on the kislux and I loved it, but I wasn't going to pay $3500 + tax for such a small bag/SLG.
Using a sentence as a password with spaces and punctuation can increase the difficulty equivalent to a 12 word seed. And it's much easier to remember or you can use a quote from a book and leave your loved ones the book, page, and line number and its easy to transmit.
