The issue is likely the following: • Your bank is blocking the purchase • The exchange is blocking your purchase. In that case, you need to reach out to whatever exchange you’re using via the Tangem app to buy crypto and they should be able to help-my friend had to do this and they were able to fix the issue for him. You could also just try buying a few more times and see if it works - Alex
What coins? Not all coins can be bought and sold directly in the Tangem app. If that’s the case, use a crypto exchange (Kraken, Binance, etc) to buy crypto and transfer it to your Tangem wallet.
Since selling Kaspa in the Tangem app isn’t supported yet, you’ll need to transfer it back to your crypto exchange of choice and sell it there OR you can swap it for a different coin directly in Tangem, and sell that coin. Swap if for USDT for example which you can sell using Tangem
The only fees you pay when transferring a crypto is the blockchain fee. So no, it doesn’t matter what wallet you use. It’s based on network congestion, not the wallet you use.

If a coin isn’t supported, it means the exchange providing the service doesn’t support it, even though you can hold it in your Tangem wallet. About .03 cents. All you’re paying is the Solana network fee. Very cheap
Video about large amount transactions
@@DakotaCrook-dl9dm no. It’s the same processes regardless
Does tangem now have its on credit card.?if so, can we just transfer it to the card ?
No. Tangem pay (their Visa card) is launching end of this year in select countries, and later in the US though.
Not sure how it will work yet though.
@@cyberscrilla thanks for the info. Much appreciated! Can't wait to see what they come up with.
Is there a limit on how much you can transfer to your debit card ?
The maximum amount that can be sold on MoonPay (Tangem’s off ramp partner) depends on the cryptocurrency and the currency used to purchase it.
And if you did reach the limit, your transaction simply wouldn’t go through.
Is kyc needed to swap coins ?
@@joshuwa3953 Not in my experience, no. But maybe for larger amounts-depends on the exchange.
I’ve swapped thousands of dollars without KYC.
Why is nobody talking about the obvious? The fact that you can only generate one wallet address and that is the address you use for every transaction. The privacy behind that is not existent.
Everything is public on the blockchain…
@@cyberscrilla so if I want to send multiple addresses to various different people that owe me money for my services. I’ve gotta give them all the same Bitcoin address? Makes no sense.
I would like to see in slow motion step by step on how to sell crypto from the Tangem wallet for people like me who are not tech savvy- Literally a close up view on each individual step from beginning to the end
You can slow down the video as you please and re watch as many times as you need. It’s very straightforward. Even if you’re not tech savvy
My question is how taxes get done when buying from in the wallet . Could you explain
@@jonmatrix2033 you have to use an crypto tax software to scrape all your transactions from the blockchain. I’ll be making a video on this soon.
Do you worry about putting all your info online like that for kyc? I thick we should push back. Its not the same as being face to face with a teller at a bank for example, after all.
Do I like KYC? No.
But trust me, all my info is already online. And so is most other people’s.
@cyberscrilla PayPal just tricked me because there is no KYC really to buy crypto with them but as soon as you want to transfer it to another wallet it becomes one of the most invasive KayC processes around..I was going to use a dex but I noticed PayPal didn't ask me for alot to buy so I thought it was because they already had my bank info..I'm deleting my account over it. Again I think that the process could be altered if we push back. All fintech offices should have brick and mortar locations like banks for things such as kyc processes
@cyberscrilla your info may be online and others. But it doesn't make it right that they can bar us from asset purchases until we comply with compromising our identities by putting the most personal info online..it's stupid. Maybe we can sue
@cyberscrilla trust me. Alot of things they only get away with because we allow it by not being ready to throw down about it. Anyways. Thanks for your video and response. Have a good day
@cyberscrilla you seem like a smart guy so I want to leave you with one more thought. One of, if not the most anonymous currency is the USD. That's why they are trying to devalue it. To reduce anonymity of individuals and erode freedom. We also must push back against this.
Would you trust to sell 50k+?
@@Bogdan-Xaine Trust? Yes. But I’d go with whatever takes the least fees. For large transactions I cash out on kraken pro
It doesn’t allow me to sell
@@plv-1 I covered why you might not be able to buy/sell certain cryptos in the app in this video.
@@cyberscrilla so I need to sell my xrp through a 3rd party
@@plv-1 Using a different exchange, yes. Soon you will be able to sell XRP directly on the app, not quite yet though.
So simple! WOW! A kid can do it! 😂😂😂😂
4% buy and 3% selling fee is crazy.
Was waiting for this one, thanks.
Also one question the fee for buying and selling here is it same when we do all the total of buying and selling in exchanges and then transfer em to tangem?
Like we have to give em first buying fee than again transferring fee then again transferring fee to tranfer to exchange and then again selling fee.
I think it is almost the same amount if you calculate all the transfers from exchanges to tangem.
What you think?
There are several fees. The “buy” and “sell” fees are charged by the exchange. Then you have the transfer fee charged by the blockchain.
@@cyberscrilla yeah but m asking that isn’t the best way to buy directly from tangem and pay one time fee instead of buying and transferring from exchanges where those fees are almost same as buying directly on tangem?
Depends on the exchange. Some exchanges charge 0.5% buy fee which is better than 3.5%.
But to your point, then you’re also paying the transfer fee. Which can be very expensive if you’re using a blockchain like Bitcoin or Ethereum
@@cyberscrilla and is the 3.5% and 2.5% fee same for all the transactions regardless of amount?
@MuscularMan008 Yes
From India an old man
Your sacrifice for us will pay off
I bless you and your family and assets in Jesus name
Is this transferring of cash allowed in India?
I have subscribed to your channel
These fees are crazy. All exchanges and wallets have them. Its very unappealing.
These fees are not wallet fees. Tangem does NOT have fees.
There are 2 fees:
1. Exchange fees
2. Blockchain fees
And the blockchain fees vary depending on the network you’re using and how congested it is.
But you’re right, most centralized exchange fees are ridiculous.
@@cyberscrilla I understand, I just meant fees in general. Thank you
But thank you for sharing
In India If i buy and sell in tangem app so tax should be applied?
I don’t understand your question
@@cyberscrilla(New law came in India: 30% tax will be on profits) So , my question is tax will be applicable if i sell crypto through tangem app.
I’m not a tax expert. But according to what you said, assuming you sold your crypto for a profit, it would be taxed.
Doesn’t matter how you sell it. Profit is profit.
Not in Dubai and some other countries. Merika is like to tax the shit out of citizens…😅😅😅
@@Hmmm313 Nice. There are pros and cons to all regions of the world lol
Mercury would not verify me because my drivers license expires in 2 months. I have had this license for 40 years, but now I have to wait to use my Tangem wallet. Or pay fees in an exchange. Not happy.
@@linda092-loves-dogs You don’t have to wait… Just use a different exchange. You pay fees regardless. Not a big deal.
And if exchanges don’t verify you because your license is almost expired, that’s on you. Not them.
Can you set a limit sell price and wait however long it takes to make the specified profit?
No, I replied to your other comment as well. Tangem isn’t an exchange. But perhaps in the future, creating buy/sell limits and stop price will be a feature.
For now, the current third-party partners Tangem uses do not offer such a service directly in the Tangem app.
I will never give out SS number. Fuck banks….. when you gonna show non kyc stuff????
There’s really no way to buy crypto (fiat to crypto) without going through KYC (in the US).
SOL is shit anyways.
