WH is closing in May yes. The 277/323 will be going to HK at some point before May when they’re ready to electrify both routes. The 241 is going to LI and the 330/474 have been lost to Go Ahead. The 97 has moved to LI and the 86 too. WH has lost a lot of work in the last few years especially the 5/15/115, 104 and 147 so no surprise it’s closing as the lease is expensive to stay open for such few routes

GAL seem to be on a lucky roll getting some routes that they use to have. 333, 401 and 474 which they lost in the last 6-7 years and gained back this year and next. I’m surprised they even got the 330, I really hope frogfaces go on the 474 as that’s a route that’s always suited Wrights and I hope the 330 gets frogfaces too as MMCs will be generic for both routes as they already use them under Stagecoach despite being E40D Smarts. I’m just surprised GAL didn’t bid for new electrics with the 330 and 474 though, guarantee if they gained the 333 back at a time where hybrids were available, they would’ve taken the chance considering the 333 is still using MHVs. The 99/269/401 was also another chance for GAL to throw spare hybrids at but they chose to bid electric. As the 241 moves on to LI, I hope G3s and EvoSetis stray on the route as well as the 19 reg WHs
@@MostlyBuses1 It’s literally perfect cause Stagecoach were at the same time as folklore and evermore will be understandably difficult for the cost of higher capacities than West Ham moved from a garage has been taken out SD/WA at Waterden Road 17 years ago, even it's new sites. There was a rumour that LI/BK generated large opposition signage suggests the clearance sale is in East London idea of unsymmetrical it is. BK could have rolled onto 474 aren't going anywhere without significant blowback and not so far from Barking, it terminates Manor Park, and LI may also have been a better solution to the 241/330 provides big capacity. I doubt MMC's GAL can allocate some of 171/172 after new electric.
Now that the 330 and the 474 are moving to GAL, I can’t help but notice that Canning Town will be ruled by GAL- effectively! They literally obtained all of Stagecoach’s old routes in that area as well as reclaimed one of their old ones from them (the 474)- in that case, they might as well reclaim the 276 and N551 as well as get the 309, 323 and N550- because I doubt they’ll stop here!
All the Stagecoach routes in Canning Town will be with them for many years now since they all got retained relatively recently. The 323 will be getting different electrics soon though which is cool.
Nice video, it will be interesting to see the 330/474 at GAL (with the latter going back to it). Looks like they could use either the 171/172 MMC’s or 188 WHV’s for their contract (I wonder if this would include WHV111). With the 241 moving to LI it’ll be sharing its MMC’s with the 97’s part allocation of them. I wonder if the 241 will see Streetdecks, G3’s or Evosetis off the 308 appearing on the route. Or even BZL’s since they do many random routes in LI.
Thanks. I hope they use the 188's WHVs as the 330 and 474 have never used those before and EHs would be a bit similar. That being said though I hope they'll use some of the 88's YX13 EHs as they're the perfect age for the contracts ending in 2028. They could also go to the 403.
@@markcf83 yes this is what’s confirmed by LondonBusesWiki however I’m not sure there would be enough space. Either that or the 5 series will be moved to SI.
WHV111 is staying at MG, the 286 is unofficially allocated WHV111 and SE279 which have both been covering for unreliable WSs and the long-gone WS108. A few 65 reg SEs did move in to MG for the 286 last year when the WSs were having huge issues like WS108 has and then they all moved on to NX and other garages. Now with most of the 65 regs gone from the 286, SE279 and WHV111 are still covering for WS108 and other unreliable WSs and WHV111 is the unofficial decker allocated to the 286. Can’t see WHV111 going anywhere now that it isn’t tied to any contracts. It was a mistake sending WSs to the 286 tbh, I know the YY14 SEs were quite unreliable too on the 286 under NX and MG’s tenure which is why we saw the 360’s WHYs drafted in temporarily in 2018 but the WSs are even worse in terms of reliability. The YY14 SEs are now even in more dire states on the 170 with damaged parts and worn out interior, they pretty much didn’t get refurbished in 2018 for the 170’s contract renewal given that they were taken off the 286 halfway through its 2014-2019 contract already. I just hope the 286 goes electric in 2026 whether decked or if TFL force it to remain SD as I would be happy to see off the horrid 67 reg WSs.
