Yes, last Thanksgiving was a chaotic mess. I think it was a birthday celebration as well and the house was packed with too many people! That's one good thing about C-19. It's forcing people to slow down and spend more quality time instead of being so chaotic all the time.
True, yeah she combined yaya and j'vaun's bday with Thanksgiving, and had trays and trays of food! It was loud and chaotic in the house lol

I been married 10 years my husband has never helped in the kitchen only the clean up and we happy as hell leave that woman alone !! Sometimes woman that are independent and strong like me and Mimi don’t need or want help it just comes naturally to do it alone especially cooking it’s a stress reliever

Hello luv. Sweet potatoes are hard as crap. I learned to boil them with the skin on then remove the skin, cut and bake. So much easier.

I chop up carrots, celery and onion, saute it. I cook sausage and chop up. I crumble some corn bread and mix all the ingredients. I season the mixture with sage, thyme, season salt, onion powder, paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Put it into baking pan. Add chicken broth to moisten the mixture. Bake until done. Just my version. Everyone makes it how their family likes it and I am sure your family loved your food!

Green bean casserole....not so much. Fresh string beans...yes!!!

Mimi that’s the new can opener you put the can up an under the can opener as it turn the top will stays in place til take the can from the opener the top doesn’t open like the traditional can you pull the top off with one hand while other hand is holding the can remember its not a jagged look it’s a smooth top that comes off so grab the top of the can and you will see it comes off smooth try it I love it will never go back to a can opener!!! ENJOY p.s. you actually can put the lid back on can imagine that Be Bless!

This is away you can make dressing however add bell pepper, still bake a small small thing of corn bread to crumble up in it. Add some cream of celery and chicken this small pan half and half. A little sage and whatever seasonings you like.

When you use the peeler, pull it toward you and it will peel better/faster instead of pushing down. And I have the same can opener... lift the top part up and it will release. I love watching you cook!!!!
