Great advice all the way around here....all new fig people should watch this....thanks for sharing and introducing Marco to us i am now subscribed ..... we need a Illinois fig growers group...though i haven't meet anyone down in southern part of the state... i know there is a few beside myself cause they have bought hardy Chicago's from my collect so there out there...

Time is key and hype is only that.. Some of my regularly best tasting figs are from trees that arent especially rare/expensive or are unknowns from the east coast

I concur with this. I got over the fake “hype” seller top picks. I’ve tasted tons of figs thru my group and nothing has wow me like this in awhile.
The red lebenesse baka valley and saol miguel roxo aka azores dark and also crozes are one of the best chicago hardys/mt etna to grow
Indeed! I got RLBV and AD… prolly gonna have to decide on one to keep. Graft on the CH is my plan and have a Mt Etna tree.
