So many people don’t know how beautiful New Mexico really is. I admit I didn’t fully realize that until a few years ago. Moved here as soon as I could. I still love Arizona, but New Mexico is my home now.
Thank you for all the Agua Piedra videos! We just got back and had a great time. We did a partial hike of the west side of Knob Loop trail, choosing to go through the meadow filled with wild flowers at the start (east side of loop trail is what you describe going to the lake). Also thought I'd mention the Agua Sarco trail down the road about 2 miles. It was fantastic and is our favorite hike in that area (so far). We want to go back in a few weeks to see the aspens color change. Your videos have helped us explore places we've never been, and consequently enriched our lives. Happy Camping!
Passed through there last month on the way to Santa Barbara & then on to camping on the road up to Taos Ski Valley. It was a wonderful and relaxing 2 weeks. Try saying Ahhwahh PeeYethdra😊 I know these Spanish names/words are hard to pronounce for non Spanish speakers though. Great video review though! Such a gorgeous area, thanku.
The ONE thing I didn't like about this campground was it was $20 with no hookup or water and when we were there it was a hot summer. (2 years ago). It IS beautiful though. Too hot in the sun with the dogs at that time.
It wasn't that hot this time, with rain every afternoon/night. We have a Nat'l Parks Access Pass (Ron has retired Vet and I have a Senior Pass) so we get half price on all forest campgrounds, so I get what you say about price. All the campgrounds have gone up in price this year, to make them more in line with other states in the SW. Hopefully that means more upgrades to all of them! Thanks for watching.

Totally agree! We have been here 20 yrs now and we still get amazed by the beauty. Thanks for watching!

Is there smoke down there or is this an old video? I appreciate your videos because I’m still learning about this state.
It was not smoke, it was early morning after a rain...so those are the clouds rising up. It was gorgeous!
@@RobinT-treehugger I wondered about that. That’s wonderful and I’m jealous.
