In this session, we speak to Smriti Singh on the reportage of crimes against women in India.
Dr. Smriti Singh is an assistant professor at department of social sciences and humanities at Indraprastha Institute of Information technology-Delhi. She teaches "Sociology of India" and "Gender and Media" courses. She's a Fulbright-Nehru Scholar, 2015-16. Her doctoral work, soon to be published as a book, explores issues of post-liberalisation urbanization and class. Her current research work is focussed on the broad area of gender, space and mobility.
