One correction you should make is that the hatch requires a 4.5 inch hole saw. I made the mistake of using 4 inches and then figured it out too late. Easy enough fix though taped the piece of plastic in so I have a guide and used a 4.5 inch hole saw and hatch is installed.
This really is a sweet kayak. Could easily be my next purchase.

I'm from Brazil and if the dollar wasn't worth almost 5 reais I would buy a Scupper 14.
Please have a Fat Paddle review for the Swell 14. I want to see someone 5-10 and 250 or more paddle it and surf it.
