Hey Alex, would love to see a follow-up video on this kayak. I know it isn't a dedicated fishing kayak but I'm wondering what it's like to fish out of one.
Dang that's SWEET! My husband is not one to really fish like I am so that might be a great choice for him. He fishes some but not that much. He paddles from his canoe days and loves that being on the water with me. I'll look into that one more as you showcase it more. At first look I'm very impressed !!
It sounds like this may be the perfect kayak for him, if he is used to a canoe, this will be a big more stable i think, but if you flip it is easy to recover
Hello Aliex this is a good video man. It's good to see your testing a paddle kayak man. 6 mph that's good man. My kayak is a paddle one because my feet are extremely to wide for the pedal drive one. Although I would like to get me a pedal drive kayak though. I wish they would make a pedal drive that will be wide enough for my 6 1/2 inches wide foot a have. Not everybody foot is narrow but I understand not everybody has a very extremely wide foot like mines too. Video thank you for sharing.
@@AliexFolgueira Thank you Aliex I really appreciate that man. I am going to look into Amazon to see if they have any wide pedals for me. My best friend is a mechanic and he does some welding so he thinking about making some wide Pedals for me.
Well You don't have to stand up but sure is much easier if you can. I flyfish out of a cheap pelican sit in kayak so you can't stand up. But yea looking for a sit on top with nothing to get the line tangled in. Probably only take one rod and a fly boxes. Minimal storage needed for rods. I am just overwhelmed buy the choices and still none of them are perfect just the better option. I'm gonna try and pick up a used one to save money. Thank you for your videos I have been watching them for years. They just send me further down the rabbit hole. There are 0 kayak suppliers around me and pretty much stuck with box stores. I think I'm going to get the outlaw 11.5 and put a trolling motor on it. Definitely be getting an amped battery

Got an older scupper pro 14 ft a few months back. They’re savage kayaks! Very smooth ride
Great kayaks these are for sure
Seriously 5.9 mph in a 12 foot boat is no joke fast. Great video!
Thanks great boat for sure
Hey Aliex! I used to paddle on overnight trips. A low drag coefficient kayak is a must for longer paddles. Very nice . Good Job as usual!
I always wanted to do a multi day trip, wont happen for a while
Nice review! Can you do a comparison between Scupper swell 12 and crescent lite tackle? I’m torn between the two. Thanks
Possible
Cool! But if you pick just one, which one would you pick and why?
How does the scupper compare to the crescent that you paddled.
i like this one better
Hay Aliex great to see you on the water again, So you can play water golf, but no fishing, Nice review.
Yeah the whole situation is messed up! No worries I will keep going back
LOVE your review.I've been following Swell Watercraft since the very beginning.
Thanks Oscar I really enjoy paddling this kayak
Waiting to see how well the Scupper 14 will fish.
Where's the bixpy video? A lot of anglers are tired of trying to paddle a dock.
Aliex could you sit side saddle on this kayak? Thanks
So what's the cost for this one what is the weight on it ?
Under 70 pounds, stars at high $900
Which one u like better for paddling? Scupper 12 or Lite Tackle?
Ohh definitely the scupper 12, the crescent yaks felt cheap, not complete…this one feels more premium
@@AliexFolgueira what about the stability for standing. Seems like the scupper 12 is for ocean. Too narrow for standing and fish??
@@jeffreyau1286 not good for standing it is 28 in wide
Hi Aliex, great initial review!! Have you managed to flip the 12 yet?
I can probably flip it in a second it wasn't made for that haha I have been so busy I haven't been able to take it out again
@@AliexFolgueira LOL. Please take a video when you try - I don't want to miss that!!
@@thomasschrader3041 check today's video I just released a does it flip video haha
Waiting on the promised third video with the flip! Come on man, we’re waiting!
"You don't like my paddling technique? I seriously DON'T. CARE." HAHAHA!
Lol

hey Mack, maybe get a PDL drive yak and change the pedals? Look on amazon for wide pedals it may work

Easy to portage? Would it hold camping gear? Looks like fun.
it should hold plenty of stuff, big hatch in the front, super easy paddle and efficient
Thanks, I don't know if I can fly fish from it though. I like it
@@richarddavis8272 i don't think so fly fish you need to stand right ?

@@richarddavis8272 I like your idea! If not sure why spend so much on a new one, the outlaw with a motor will be epic
Nice boat
Aliex when are you doing your fishing video with the scupper 12. looking forward to seeing it.
Look who came out from hibernation
😜🤣😂
Haven't seen a fish in a month yet lol
They should just put a 'no aliex' sign and save money lol
