I just got a drag slash and only ran it once before the weather got too cold to run it outside. I need to find a place like this closer to where I live,it looks awesome! I really like alk the race coverage you do,the mud bog racing looks like so much fun and the no prep drags,so good. Thanks for the great videos and all you do for the rc community
I was in rc back in the 80s and what hurt it the most is having 12 classes and 3 driver levels in each class and 4 cars per class... then we had one class and 40 drivers and it was a big deal to get an A win. I'm back in 10th scale now but just to goof around.
Just found you. Very interesting. Here's a story. First when I was a kid in Chicago we would race 24th open class slot cars on designed tracks. Very cool and very facs. The open 24 class was a beast. Anyway, later when I was a tech at the Ford dealership on Friday nights in the shop we would race rocket powdered cars. A very long shop down the center. Also very interesting. Much like yours though crashes were predominate. So the fix we came up with was to affix 2 tiny eyelets under the car, front to back. Then a guide wire was strung between the start line and the shut down area. Then how much slack was in the line determined how much driving a person had to do. Plus it added a bit of drag which I think is appropriate. I think the weight to power ratio on RC cars is not realistic. If the cars weighed more to scale they would be easier to drive and more fun.
Very cool facility. I do the no prep drag racing myself. Just a suggestion. They might wanna cut the track back to eight mile (66) foot so there is more shutdown.. we are running 2.0s 1.9s in 132 foot at over 70 mph.. we would prolly break some m every hit even with the cushion at the end.. you can also prep the shut down area to help wit shut n the cars down to.. but boy what a nice place..
No way in hell I would run my car at this track, that smacking the back wall is a good way to tweak your car . plus no one there can maintain their lane .. hard pass
What’s a good drag car to start with I had a primal dragster sold it don’t want to mess with gas anymore but would love to get into electric drag racing
3:39 car on the left went over the line in front, so it loss.. the other car went over the line behind them so its not a loss.. If you are ahead and go over the line, you lose.
I race there , it’s not that bad . They have several rows of pillows and foam then safety catch nets going across. Most times I can get stopped but sometimes I go into pillows . You can’t tell but behind net is like 30ft before you actually would hit drywall.
@@andrewnagle4707 it would take some getting used to for sure to us that have never done indoor. I would be letting out early the first few passes until I could judge the stopping distance. Still so awesome that you guys have a place to run year round regardless of weather.
@@bbyautographics7106 The first time I run it I was nervous too . It’s definitely different from running in parking lots and judging the finish line , but after a few times you figure it out . It is nice having year round drag racing .
@@southpawdiecast8352 I see the same thing happening on the streets . This past Sunday we raced there and there were several guys running sub 2 second passes . Track record was beat 3 or 4 times that race . It’s currently 1.85 seconds
@@andrewnagle4707 dang that's fast, I have a Traxxas funny car with the optional weld wheels but no place to run by it anymore. Wanting to sell it. Don't have the transmitter for it. I've he ink it's buried in my shed since I haven't run it in years. I've heard these wheels by them self go for $200 plus.
Crazy to see no prep on a slick surface still running mid 2s pretty awesome!
Glad too see there are Gals in the sport and doing well. Go Lizzy Musi!
I would love to have a place like this in my area. Nice set up.

Shout out from the philippines 🥰❤️
Love that place ! Drag strip wasn’t there when I was there few months back !! Kieth is one hell of a good guy !
Ran a street eliminator car there and had no issue with the shut down area, no damage to the car. Great facility and tracks.
Not possible

I’m glad to see my car ain’t the only one makes drastic turns.
Nice facility, indoor drag strips are needed here in Florida lol…
Lol they need them more here in the New England area!
Very cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very cool track but you might need a middle divider ?

I’d love more coverage of these indoor races …. Please
Yea I agree!
sorry this place closed up.. but i will be covering some outdoor drag racing
Looks like a awesome time looks liked it is difficult to get those cars to hook on that surface

That's booking on 2s 👍
Excellent videos sir❤
I'm so jealous!! Great work!
awesome video sir
Great Video and the indoor track is very nice
Funny fact, you can win more $$$$ in rc drag racing than in full size drag racing
AWESOMENESS!!! 😎
I wish I could finish all that drywall
Asome Drag hall Love that Asome Asome
Such a cool looking place 👍🏼
Asome drag hall
That place is where to go for no prep drag racing I have go there nice content bro!!!🏎💨🏁👍🏾💪🏾🤔😳
That’s cool as hell!
I didn’t think oval racing would be fun, but then I tried it and loved it. I’m purposely staying away from drag.
Badazz..very cool
Looks fun! If there is a way to get the speed and times put them in the next video if possible. Would be sweet
What better chassis and set ups. Losi, traxxas, associated ?
Do these cars have 'launch control'?
So what’s the slowest class? 😅
Love it here's a question does anybody use a gyro on their steering servo?
No way in hell I would run my car at this track, that smacking the back wall is a good way to tweak your car . plus no one there can maintain their lane .. hard pass
Does the guy with the red S10 No the object is to cross the finish line not hit the wall
Where can I get a tree light like that or something like from
That is so neat! My dream is too open an INDOOR r.c track. With a freestyle pit. Food stand. Hop up parts. 🇨🇦🇨🇦
Is this place still available or open to the public can’t find them on FB
Tell me I’m not the only one who saw that car fly 2:15 it happend😂
Who makes the 4th gen camaro body?
WHAT STARTING TREE AND TIMING SYSTEM ARE YOU USING IN THIS VIDEO
I'm not sure.. maybe porta tree
I can see a lot of crashes at the end👀 And that tree is off a bit🤔

The Losi 22s is a good car . Fast out of the box . Just change the diff oil and tires to start.
@@andrewnagle4707 thank you I’ll look into them now!

Linoleum is no joke.
Love how one guy has BIG CHIEFS and another ugy has FIREBALL CAMARO lol.
Looks killer but that 75ft shutdown is a lil sketchy.
Thinking the same. So cool to have a indoor track, but would be scared to go full send.

Car size limit? Can I race my limitless?
1/10 scale
@@andrewnagle4707 how fast you think there going???
What happened to Scale Speed?
shop closed up.. website may still be up but i'm not sure
Atleast turn the radio on, good lord
Looks cool, lets see one go 80mph and try to get slowed down. KaPow.
They just had a track record of 1.85 . Not sure of mph but I think it was 75
looks great if you looking to destroy your car after each run....
Lol my 3s brushless slash will gap 3/4s of this field, while carrying the fronts the whole trip!
track looks nice But 75 FEET Run Off is Not enough !
Looks prepped to me. Last time I checked no prep meant no heated tire, no tire juice
No prep in RC drag racing means the track is not prepped
It's pretty much who can keep it in a straight line
1 at a time would be safest😅
Dumb idea thats the worst surface you could run on for no prep, i mean its tiles like used in dept stores. Equals very slick, equals no traction.
I run there all the time . I pull wheelies the whole way down .
@@andrewnagle4707 on this video at least 5 runs or more cars spun out.
