Learning from how you breakdown and explain your thought process on how to caught fish. This is the type of fishing videos I needed, there’s none out there that do it like you. Keep up the great work and wish best of luck.
Great recap Kristine! My son (13) does bass boat tournaments with my husband as his captain. Occasionally I will fish with them and give my kayak a break. The number one thing I try to share with them is to be more patient. When I’m kayak fishing, I spend so much more time in areas that may not start off productive, but will sometimes turn on. I think when you’re running a trolling motor and not getting bites, you just keep on moving and potentially spend most of your day in search mode. Great advice and I wish you the best in Georgia!
Well Kristine, you get LOTS of respect from me the way you get around in that kayak! A lot of people don't realize how tipsy they feel AND can be if you're not careful. You make it look simple. Especially when you're standing up when setting the hook on your fish!! I've flipped my kayak before and it's NOT really easy to get back on in deeper water. I always tell people that my "re-entry" must have looked like something from Nat Geo, "The Walrus Mating Ritual"! LOL! Kidding aside, people should practice flipping and re-boarding in deeper water. It could save their life one day. Thanks for taking us along with you. Tight lines!!
Love your videos girl! Thank you for your thorough review on your thought process throughout the events because it really helps me to learn. You’re amazing Kristine keep at it!
I don't target bass but I learned valuable lessons from this video. The best was to not be defeated by one bad day/tournament/trip. There are lessons to learn.
Just left dardanelle myself last week, new the tournament was going and would have been cool to meet you. My bad, enjoy watching your channel. Shoal bay is my favorite sport...good luck keep it going..
Lived in ar my whole life. I'm only 45 min from Darnell. Never have fished there.i don't know why. Just never have. But it's on my hit list. Just took up crappie fishing last year. Due to today's graphs i thought it would be fun to use the technology and start targeting crappie. When i go there in March. I'm going to camp so i can fish it a couple days
That Tournament was huge humbling experience. I hooked into some nice largemouth but failed to get them into the boat. Its probably because my hobie compass wasn't anchored. It moved towards the bass while I was reeling them in which caused less tension on my line
My daughter’s family lives in Cumming, GA near Lake Lanier. A beautiful place with beautiful water. Caught Striped Bass there and loved every minute of it. Trying to convince my daughter to buy her Dad a bass boat. I’d keep it at their house and even let them use it, but so far no go. 😱Maybe I should downsize my request to a fishing kayak? That would be cool too. Safe travels, God Bless!
My "Old Stomping Grounds", being just an hour down the road from me! Lots of small ones in the morning in the shallows and grassy points, and Big Ones in the evening (after 6) in deep water/log jams ! Too many Dang Bass Boats everywhere, for me! (Many going over 70 mph, throwing Big Wakes!) That's why I LOVE 'Yak Fishin', I guess. Good luck, have fun...
Interesting you mentioned the fish we're almost on a timed bite. If go back to 2014 or 2015 Jason Christie said during his win there that the fish would only bite during certain times throughout the day.
Lanier has got some big fish. Seems people have the most luck staying off shore and relying on their electronics. If you can get on some spotted bass you can pick out one after the next. They say the big fish are in the lower part of the lake but tournaments have been won up the river. I stay clear of the big water south just because of the boat traffic and focus from clarkes bridge up to don carter.
You’ll be at Lake Lanier, very cool. I live on Lake Lanier way up at the north end. I suspect y’all will be further south on the lake. I can’t wait to see what your ideas are for fishing this water. August kicked my butt, but September has been good so far. After the tournament, if y’all want to come fish the north end let me know. Good luck
Corey Morton: I’m from WI which has many beautiful lakes, but Lake Lanier is a special place. I visit family in the area and spend time at several of the local parks near Cumming. If I ever moved south it would be hard to resist a place on Lanier. Last Feb we visited. Is the water level still so high and if it is what’s happened with fishing? Thanks!
Super TUFF caught fish in pre fishing, spent a whole day with kathrine in a area during day one only catching 2 fish then went into day two hoping for the better and only catching 2 was great being humbled like that and took alot away from placing 65th.
Go to Burton Mill ramp on Lanier. I hate spot fishing. Everything from the ramp to the back of the creek is killer large mouth fishing. It’s my safety net. I know I can go in there and get a good limit with a kicker most the time
Hey new subscriber here I've heard a lot about you you're making big waves good for you. I hope to see you on MLF or the elite series in the near future. It's interesting to know what you found at Darnell Randy from intuitive angling just had an opens tournament their last week and it was basically community hole fishing 101.
As and old bass fisherman. Welcome to what you know on trying to out smart the Largemouth Bass sometimes. You would think after 45 years of bass fishing I would have it figured out. LOL. That’s why it’s called fishing instead of catching. Good videos though. 😊
I live in the Northern part of AR and I've been wanting fish Lake Dardenel.you should've checked out thg Fish The Moment's channel. He fish Dardenel alot,I'm sure he could've gave you some pointers about it
So funny you are at that controversial bridge Mark Menendez took an aluminum boat maybe a sixteen footer with walmart camo wrap to make it legal?? And pushed his boat under that bridge for the win
Shame myself ? All this shows is the disaster of a fishing tourney day , trying to get a popper back from under a bridge. If you glance my thumbnails I have never once “shamed” myself.

Great tips and some great fish too Kristine 😊👌👏👏👏

The tough ones will teach you a lot. Keep on fishing them! Can't wait to see your next tourney.

You would love the kayak
Heckofa move on day 2 though! I'm heading over to look at the fishing report on Omnia! Thanks so much for sharing.
Learning a lot from my hero. Great map break down. 👍🏽

That's why it's called "fishing" .... great advice! Thanks doll!

What’s a Rico?

Larry Stolzman just above full pool
Corey Morton: Thanks, beats a few years ago when people couldn’t get their houseboats off the docks.
Larry Stolzman This is true

I ended up 51st.. my worst finish this year but I probably learned more at this one than I did at any other!
Go to Burton Mill ramp on Lanier. I hate spot fishing. Everything from the ramp to the back of the creek is killer large mouth fishing. It’s my safety net. I know I can go in there and get a good limit with a kicker most the time
Dardanell is fishing tough right now. !4 is leading the FLW Toyota tournament today. I couldn't get your link to work.

Day 1 looked pretty much perfect from my angle.
Hey, I love your videos! I am saving to get a Hobie PA. I notice you have a PA14. What drew you to a PA14 over a PA12?
I want to fish with you!
Lake Lanier top water bait's and blade bait's
I live in the Northern part of AR and I've been wanting fish Lake Dardenel.you should've checked out thg Fish The Moment's channel. He fish Dardenel alot,I'm sure he could've gave you some pointers about it
not being a kayaker, how the heck do you cover so much in your kayak to get to all those areas?
It’s a LOT of work.
Yes Google Earth is a tool that should be in every anglers tacklebox.
Best tool!
I came for the fish 🙃
I see new thumbnails... 🤔
You are a role model for women!
Thank you so much! Just trying to shatter that glass ceiling!
What kind of kayak do you have?
Well the link worked this time.
Not quite the big-mouths as we have here in south Florida eh?
You said that right !
Pan crop tool for your intros, might help. Other than that great video.
Appreciate that man!
Shad or not good in Dardanelle I live in Dardanelle
cool. for me one fishing rod and reel .. greetings from Indonesia.
Watch this channel for those shorts!!
👍👊
It was like a phd lesson I. Preparing to fish. I feel like a kindergarten fisherman now 🤨🤨🤨
The thumbnail though....lol
The future’s so bright I gotta wear shades!
It be like that sometimes
So funny you are at that controversial bridge Mark Menendez took an aluminum boat maybe a sixteen footer with walmart camo wrap to make it legal?? And pushed his boat under that bridge for the win
It isn’t this bridge that was a different one
Great video, keep them coming... I subscribed so I won't miss any. If you get a chance check me out.
The bottoms of your feet were dirty
U don’t have to shame yourself in thumbnails to get pics
Shame myself ? All this shows is the disaster of a fishing tourney day , trying to get a popper back from under a bridge. If you glance my thumbnails I have never once “shamed” myself.
