Hey Tom. I found your channel few weeks ago and was really encouraged to try your way of fishing with feeding lead (i used korda method feeder) and oats/corn recipe. Before that I was fishing with bait that was already mixed for PVA bags + buying PVA bags, wasnt cheap sport. First impressions... on same day, in 3,5h of fishing I cought 7 carps from 2-5kg! That was in february just after the ice melted on the lake surface.. So I decided no more PVA stuff, just feeder with premade oat/corn food. P.S.: now I need to buy some strawberry sweets to try! :D Thanks for Your content, keep it going! Greetings from Europe!
You are right about watching the whole video, you always have good tips throughout your videos. I like the looks of that dark catfish, wife is really going to think I am nuts when I have her pick up some gummy bears for carp bait. Thanks for the video.
Looks like I'm now adding fruit gels to my list of carp bait. And I just ordered a 50# bag of rolled oats. Way cheaper than buying the 42 oz boxes at the supermarket.
Glad you finally landed a carp on the fruit gummies! I love experimenting with new/different baits (especially convenient shelf stable stuff like this)! Thanks for the video!
Great story! Timing is everything as I have been trying to envision an alternative to the tiger nuts and this adds to my list. Looking for that better 'hold up' factor that the nuts give you now. Good music score on the catfish hook ups 😆 and I liked the net camera w/the carp, awesome!!! Looking forward to your '24 spring season vids.
Thank you, I enjoy your videos. You have helped me catch more carp. Aren't they fun. The water temperature in a slough near me was 48 degrees. I think i will give it a try.
Thanks Tom just received your leads and a couple rigs. Excited to test them out. Stay frosty Sir.
Right on, good luck out there!

Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks James.
That catfish looked like he had oatmeal for breakfast ! Won't be long now tom . The quest for a new pb begins.
One more month to go, woohooo!
Carp likes sweet stuff in warm waters, sweet corn, jellybons, diped tigernuts, when its cold bites on fish and krill aromas (anything thats smelly)
I like yuor video bro😍
Tom, what is the purpose of pinning your weight instead of having it slide up and down your line?
That's the difference between a sliding rig and a bolt rig. Here's a detailed explanation. ua-cam.com/video/36KSNKLIoss/v-deo.html
Thoughts on chick peas for bait?
Yep
What brought you to the point of rigging up fruit snacks back in July??? I'm getting desperate for fish too. lol.
Just wanted to change things up a bit I guess, thanks for watching.
@@OutsidewithTomAlways watching for that something new which gets more hook ups.
At what water temperature do carp become active.
40+
