Hey man, how are you liking the kit? Hows the ride? Performance and comfort good? Handling? Looking to get this kit as an upgrade/refresh to my 1 series. thanks man
This setup is an amazing “compromise” kit. And I mean compromise in a good way. Ride is firm yet compliant, body control is good, and handles like a dream compared to stock. Would do it again in a heartbeat
I’m not sure if you still have the car or not but How well has the suspension held up this long? If they’ve held up pretty well Can you post a link to the kit?
I no longer have the car, I heard an update on it after 6k miles and all was well. I purchased it the kit from tirerack.com but I bribe they are currently out of stock.
@@clauu1066 maybe u have m sport spring, because I have e46 2000 m tech , and was at rear low and front high , after installing H&R sport spring , its lower front, rear almost the same but stiffer, and looks perfect and ride too
Help :) I have this same kit. My shop stopped the install because the stems on the new struts where 1.5 inches shorter than the old struts. They were concerned it was wrong. Did you notice if your orignal struts where longer than the touring kit? Ty
I did h&r springs 1/4 in back3/4 in back. Put 18 in back and front. Running 255 on rear 225 on front . Amazing ride holstein shocks and struts
Looks good
Does this fit the 325xi touring

I would say to get the full kit of struts and springs though, new springs on old stock struts would probably be less of a winning package
@@jecustoms52 awesome man, thanks for the info. Ill probably getting the touring kit for my 1 series. Have a good one homie!
Great video! Is your car AWD or RWD?
Rwd

I am sorry I do not remember now. I definitely do not remember a reason for concern. If the shop is scared I would have them call H&R.
How does it drive? Does it scrape anywhere?
It is phenomenal, it is definitely lower but the ride is smooth and compliant but firm when it matters due to the progressive rate springs.
John Elliott Does it scrap on speed bumps??
It does not, the only issues you might have are the same as any lowered car such as larger than normal speed bumps or aggressive driveways.
Is this an xi? And is there a difference?
It is not an xi, xi are all wheel drive
Yes awd to rwd!
