I’m glad to see I’m not the only one who has had this happen to them 🤣🤣 mine was from my stupidity of not doing a final double check and I forgot to tighten the bolts for the caliper just put them couple treads by hand. Caliper popped off and went through the rim

It happened to me in highschool in my 04 GMC Sierra. Thankfully I noticed at my best friends house and was able to not need wheels
Happened to my sister after she went to get her breaks done.
Her front right calliper fell off inside the wheel and locked it up.
She called me crying on the side of the highway “ my car just won’t move anymore, I can go backwards but not forward.

This is super ironic, I had the exact same thing happen to me yesterday! Bolts for the front calipers came loose because I'm stupid and I also didn't use thread-locker, luckily I didn't punch a hole in my rim or damage the caliper, heck I even found the bolt that came off. I put the bolt back on drove the car home, took off all of the caliper bolts, put thread-locker on, and made sure the bolts were tight.
this issue with the caliper happened on my evo to a much lesser extent and I had NO IDEA what was going on. so I can totally understand this happening. it took me two weeks to figure out what was going on.

Really should’ve just went Seems Legit Garage dual caliper brackets. Those welds look like they’re gonna break again.
I had this happen to me on my avalanche before. Caliper bolt backed out while driving and it blew my wheel apart. Crazy.

I had to change a sway bar link back when I had my 2002 Eclipse shortly after installing brakes on the front. And unfortunately I had done the same thing!
Man’s hasn’t had a single chance to drive this car after it’s been touched 😂
The flanges are a little different for m54b30 and b25 engines 😂

Bound up and ya kept forcing it, asking for things to break, and just my 2 cents but ya shouldn't ground on the hub to weld on the knuckle, grounding through a bearing, put ground right on knuckle

Love the videos, but Garren never ever put the earth for the welder on a hub. This means the current will go through the wheel bearing and possibly weld it too 😧

Those welds are still horrible, bad gas coverage and looks like you did short bursts instead of a continuous bead.
