I really LOVE the reverse LCD display. Thermapen IS the gold standard in this market space but it is expensive and their LCD is inferior to almost every other thermometer out there. I don't have the ChefsTemp but I have a couple others with that reverse display and I know I like those better. They are easier to read in all conditions.
ChefsTemp really did a nice job with this instant read. Just like you, I don’t like the display in the Thermapen. I have a bunch of instant reads in the cupboard and I only use the X10. Thanks for watching John! Cheers!
