Yup, SAGA is top tier game design, I've been singing its praises for a long time, as I think its still somewhat of an underappreciated gem in the wargame community. Just stumbled across your channel today, via UA-cam recommendations, seems like we value similar things when it comes to wargames (I also have a background in playing games hyper competitively.) I also have an interest in trying my hand at some game design in the not too distant future. Would be curious to know if you have a top 10 list of favourite wargames, based purely on mechanics and rules of said games? Looked back through your channel history and couldn't find any videos on that topic, might make for an interesting video discussion.
