I bought this tank to grind out the Chinese ground forces. It's totally worth it IMO; China's 5.7 lineup is the best of the non-German trees. 2 IS-2, 2 T-34-85 (3 if you want the premium), M18 GMC (!!!)
I personally would recommend the Sherman (1st PTG) and pairing it up with the Chinese A6M2, instead of purchasing the premium IS 2 and T34.

I think you’re right, 6000 ge, way over priced!
The IS-2 is one of my favourite tanks and can be very satisfying to play. I also think that its a good tank to learn better WT game play on. Because of its slow reload It forces you into making use of cover, of getting back into cover if your first shot isn't enough rather than sitting in the open waiting for your reload and patience, as you sometimes have just one shot to get it right and you have to make it count. The 122mm helps as it rewards careful play; If you find a good ambush spot it can be truly devastating. Mobility is good for a heavy and it has some very trolling armour in the frontal arc. Its also surprisingly inconspicuous for a heavy tank, much smaller than say Tiger I and II etc, I find that I can creep out and engage quite stealthily sometimes. But yes, you can't play very aggressively with it. At 5.7 its good, but can suffer a lot in an up tier, the 6.3 version in the Soviet tech tree is not as effective. I actually bought the Chinese Premium one along with the T-35-85 (I misread the ad for the sale in the store and thought they were only available for a short time so forked out for them! Doh!).

6090GE has always made me balk. The BFW JPanther, a few aircraft, I can't make myself spend that much, even when Gaijin gives me the GE. I don't think any of them are worth it. There are plenty of other premiums that I feel are decent enough value, but the T-34-85 in this specific case as a comparison is a no-brainer over this.
That german premium mi-24 heli which is 8700 and just a main tree copy i think is the worst,while the other nations have the kamov,glynx,and eurocopter
I'm surprised Gaijin hasn't reworked the prices of some of the vehicles over the years. It's like they're afraid of pissing off the people who bought them three years ago.

In my opinion, the IS-2 tank is better than the Tiger tank.
These two premiums interest me, not for grinding i already have a talisman on the T34/85 GAI and the two 8.0 mediums, but in order to make SL.
I'm tired about statpadding America 5.3 line up for that. Do I have to sell one of my kidneys for this hum ? Money is missing this month lol.

@@JChamberlin Hum, that wasn't a great experience, mostly because of tmatchmaking and not tanks themselves, it wasn’t funny to play against Leo A1A1, L44, OFC 40, MBT70 or Merkava 80% of the time with bad mobility, bad turret rotation speed and no thermals. I played them less than 100 games, my winrate is trash, less than 40% with a decent K/D, which is pretty rare for me and does'nt make both talismans very effective.
@@MrStay71 That's too bad. A lot premiums are being moved up to 9.0 so maybe you'll be seeing fewer of them in the future.
@@JChamberlin Yeah saw that, Maybe it’ll be more enoyable to play, but i'm not sure, map rotation are bad too, too many city fight maps, wich is not realy good with such a bad turret rotation speed.

I like your videos, but I can't even watch a night battle. All I ever see is a very dark screen and a flash once in a while. I've tried adjusting my settings to no avail. I J out of all night battles because I don't have any idea what's happening. I literally can't see anything at all.
I rarely play them myself, but I thought I'd give it a go. I'll be sure not to include night battles in videos in the future so more of you can see what's going on.
@@JChamberlin, I appreciate that. I really do enjoy your videos. I just can't see anything in night battles whether I'm playing or just watching. And I use a 43" 4kUHD TV for a monitor.
