- In this video, I will show you how to use the Chroma Keyer Node in Unreal Engine 5 to achieve realistic color correction. The Chroma Keyer Node is a powerful material node that allows you to adjust the hue, saturation, and brightness of your textures based on a color key. You can use it to create stunning effects such as compositing live-action footage with 3D environments, changing the color of objects, or enhancing the mood and atmosphere of your scenes.

Once again you reveal a 'trick' that helps me immensely.
Happy to help my man 🤙🏿
MAJOR PRO TIP!
Material functions are underrated and underused, especially for new users. It's great to showcase this and share your knowledge, thanks so much Winbush 😁
Great tip!!! 👍🏿
Such a smart tip, haha, now I'll use it in all my materials instead of MF_Adjustments node which is overkill
Wot u think of SORA ? Dont think I've ever been blown away. On another level that stuff. 😮
I'm interested to see how it'll be used in the real world once like movie studios get their hands on it. I've already lost work do to Mid Journey so yea lol.
SORA doesn't have material functions...yet 😂
TYYY so MUCHHHHHH
Very relevant! Thank you once again JW!
A question - So if you are working with slog footage, would you convert your footage to REC709 in AE as you render the EXR SEQ out and then do further color correction in unreal or what is the best work flow? Or is there a way to export your UE render in a flat profile, similar to Log so you can correct and color grade everything together or is this where you render out in various passes. The last part I actually have no clue what I am talking about, I have only heard about it but it might apply to this. I hope my question makes sense 🙂.
Thanx again
Thomas
