I was the cyclist you passed on the way up App Gap. I'll never forget the sound of that v10 screaming up the gap. I knew it was an LFA before I saw it. That engine. So fucking cool.
Exactly. This car is #2 on my list right after the laf aperta. But maaan I love this car so much I can't describe it. it's like everything about it is pure perfection and I would gladly watch 10 hours of twisty roads in this car.
@@lukaskrizan7881 For me it is my #1 dream car... Even though it's extremely unlikely I will ever put my hands on money that would allow me to get it, I still cringe every time I see how quickly the price grows lol My "alternative" dream cars are Ferrari 812GTS or older and cheaper F12 Berlinetta, but ONLY equipped with Novitec exhausts. Search up POVs of these, I would say these sound just as good if not slightly better than LFA
Try over a million, these cars are the modern equivalent to the 2000GT, “overpriced” for its performance numbers and therefor under appreciated in their time only for people to later realize that the car has other selling points beyond just its performance numbers leading it’s collectibility to skyrocket.
400000$? Seriously ? Lol Double, triple or even quadruple your estimate depending on version and options. I have trouble for the 70 inches too. You know nothing about it P.S. sry for my English, But at least I know the value of true legends
This car has always been under-appreciated. I love this car and who better than @Tedward to put us behind the wheel. The sounds is still one of the best cars I have ever driven.
"This car has always been under-appreciated" yeah buddy calling a car that seels for 1.6 Million€ under-aprreciated is a weird statement. Its currently the most overhyped sportscar (not even a supercar) on the market. Its completely overblow and overhyped and the only reason is because its sounds good. Nothing else. Looks bland, drives okay for a sportscar, lacks power. (All compared to the cars you can get for half the money of the LFA asking price).
Just sharing, but in the Philippines, there is an LFA in the Lexus dealership. There are only 3 LFAs in the Philippines, if im not mistaken, and that is one of them.
Its my dream car, and believe it or not, I saw one literally on my birthday, it was sitting in the Yamaha Museum Japan and I checked out nothing but was just staring at it for like 3hrs. Believe me, its unreal to see one in person, like it feels like life aint syncing. The car has gone up far in value and a good one will bring you down $1m
What I love about this video is firstly the car. What a machine! But the main takeaway I have is how respectful Tedward is. He’s enjoying the car and having fun but he’s driving within his limits, only using the other side of the yellow line if he can see it’s clear beforehand. Awesome content, respect the drive
I love the way he blurs out the speedo for plausible deniability when he breaks the speed limit. But you can see the revs continue to climb in the same gear xD
Great road! I was lucky enough to be handed the keys to a 308GTS for that drive. Tried to duplicate it a year later in my Sentra SE-R and discovered what brake fade is really like!
it might be a bit weird but the wind noise actually makes it really good. i just closed my eyes and imagined myself in the car and now i am really calm and sleepy. such a good sound and video. i hope you had a wonderful time out there
and thank‘s to editing trickery, we could get up to 55 mph! you should‘ve edited the speedo in the way TopGear did when they took the LFA to the states
owning a lexus from that same era and seeing small similarities within the interior is trippy. makes the LFA just that much more legendary and nostalgic to me 👌
It’s almost impossible that i don’t get excited like a 6 years old boy in a toy store every time i see this beautiful piece of machinery! love it i want it 😍
What happened there at 3:08 ? Sounded like something scraping really bad 😬 Nevermind, it was static from the walkie-talkie. The LFA is just perfection. The exhaust sound, the display, the accents. I love everything about it!
This is so sick, this is one of my favorite cars of all time and the fact that you got to drive it through Vermont and some awesome northern New England backroads (I’m from New Hampshire) is just so incredibly awesome. Hope to do this some day too.
If you’re ever back in VT you gotta try the drive from Burlington to Montpelier on Route 2. They just repaved a lot of it and it’s so nice to drive on.
@@ShaiyanHossain yeah NY has some amazing roads. Shawangunk mountain and great Indian wilderness is my go to. It's a secret to the people I talk to at least. I mention Vermont and a lot of people are like "really? Vermont?"
Thank you man, really.... the LFA is my favorite car and to see a lot of content these past few days has really made my life better. Cheers man once more
Awesome. Pure awesome. I love how this car went from underappreciated dud to legend. I dont love that theyre absolutely stupid money now. This reminds me of the legendary Ferarri GTO pure sound video. Outstanding!
Thank you for posting a lot of LF-A videos you are the best. And I really don't mind that it doesn't have a dual clutch gearbox just like the M5 E60 doesn't because it's so much better to hear the shift actually for those kind of cars.
Top notch work Tom. You really captured the feeling of being in a rally with a high performance car. It's tough to descrbe to someone the energy you get driving at that level, for that length of time, while passing and running the radio. Doing it in an LFA is all the better. Too bad you didn't get a clean pass on the App gap but you still sent it hard (gotta get up there at sunrise for a clean run). However your M3 video is still tops. God I love Vermont, it's just surreal.
Ahh the app gap. Was my favorite driving road growing up in VT. Crazy to think that the same roads that I ripped my parents Mazda 3 up 100s of times is being driven by arguably one of the coolest super cars in the world. Awesome video!
LOVE IT! Was that the Lincoln Gap Rd? Man I wish you guys stopped in Stowe. I have never seen an LFA video like that before. It’s going to be a huge hit Ted my man!
@@TedwardDrives Oh don’t you worry it will be! Man, I sold my E-92 M3 yesterday and after seeing the video wished I still had it to do the Lincoln Gap one more time, thanks for sharing.

That’s incredible!! I tried to leave a lot of room for you and hoped that you’d appreciate the exhaust on the way by. It sounds wild against the rocks
Awesome comment
@@TedwardDrives did you get a chance to climb up from the east? It has a better set of switch backs IMO.
Imaginine hearing this when your just going for a bike drive already gives me goosebumps before watching the video😂
This type of content for the LFA has never been posted on youtube before, this is definitely gonna be one of your most viewed videos.
I totally agree
Issimi has done it.
Yesss
I don’t think any video would beat his Iconic LFA video in my opinion
probably most viewed if this was posted in 2016-2018
You could literally post a 10 hours long POV of this beauty and I would still watch every second.

For reals.
The sound alone makes $400,000 seem like a bargain. Unbelievable car.
try $900,000 lol, these things are worth a fortune now. from “I wouldn’t buy this!” to “cherished classic” all so soon
San Francisco Toyota has one with like a couple hundred miles for 1 million and a Nurburgring edition for 2 million

Finally, someone who drives an LFA and keeps the engine revs high, instead of constantly changing gears.
Superb 🥂

Yup shoutout to Tedward for driving in a respectful and relatively safe manner. I don't think most of the others on the really were doing the same.
I love the way he blurs out the speedo for plausible deniability when he breaks the speed limit. But you can see the revs continue to climb in the same gear xD
That stretch on Route 17 over the Appalachian Gap is one of my all-time favorite drives. I imagine doing it in an LFA would be fantastic!

That engine doubles as a giant wind instrument (I guess all combustion engines kinda are); such good sound.
Love the rear-mounted spoiler cam so much! Looks like an absolutely beautiful time. Vermont during the fall is something else
The fall background with LFA noise, lovely!!
