One of the best interpretation I've ever heard. What a great conductor was Sinopoli with the masterpieces of R. Strauss, Wagner, Mahler, Verdi, his repertoire was immense, it is was a great loss when he died relatively young. BRAVO!

Great sounding orchestra and Sinopoli was a wonderful conductor. This performance I found mesmerizing. Thanks for posting!
Btw, the old 60's Kempe recordings of Strauss tone peoms with Dresden are among the best. This has always been one of the top orchestras, in my opinion.
