But it were Russian breeders who made better varieties some generations ago, and what's grown in the west now is still based upon the work of these Russian breeders. Originally Honeyberries were almost unknown in the west.
I'm from the US and I used to visit my grandma and other family in rural Russia every summer since my birth, but I stopped after the COVID pandemic happened and the war started. July of 2023 was my first time in 4 years of visiting my family and I loved it there more than I ever have. When I was younger, I must have taken the wonderful place for granted since I missed it so much when I couldn't go, but I'm extremely grateful for the fact that I could visit again. We were all happy to see each other and everyone commented on how much I grew. At the time of writing this comment, it is September and I already miss my village. Hopefully I'll be able to return again soon

More than a means to get from one place to another, it is an experience unto itself.
