- At the end of December, Nathan and I took a bouldering trip to Fontainebleau. We headed to Gorges aux Chats and Rocher aux Oiseaux, where I climbed my first 7a grade boulder in the forest, Le Mandarin Droite

sending your first 7a (especially at Font) is an amazing feeling!!! congrats!
Congrats! That looked amazing! Super hard getting over that lip! Beautiful video as always :) xxx
Thanks Athena! Thought I was off a couple of times on the slab hehe. We should climb together soon. :) xx
Amazing video! So nice to re-live our trip
Countdown to Chorro!
Well done Hannah. That looked very difficult but you did it!! Xx
Thanks! ❤️
I follow most climbing UA-camrs, (Andrew mcf, magnus, erik karlsson, jenn sends, etc etc) and the quality of this video is seriously up there with all of them if not surpassing. Keep it up and you will be up there with them, looking forward to your future content!
Wow what a compliment! I really look up to those guys, their content is great. Thanks so much for commenting - made my day!
Great job, Hannah! You have no idea how much I love your videos :) You guys are great! Have a nice day ^^
Thanks so much Khumar, really means a lot to me. :)
Very nice climb! The joy on your face is just priceless! :)
Thanks so much Tamas! I was really pleased to get it. :)
7a?! In Font?! 🤯 congrats!! Great video as well
Courtney Warren Thanks Courtney. Think I got lucky finding the one that suited me hehe. 😀
I really liked the atmosphere of this video and your explanations. Congrats for the 7a !
Thanks so much! Really appreciate that 😀
that looked very difficult, congrats!
Thanks!
Nicely filmed, and very inspiring!
Thanks - really appreciate that! 😅
Well done Hannah, lovely video. xx
Thanks! ☺️
Smashed it laaaaad !
WWWooooot, thanks gal! :D
3:28 Someone in the back ground is talking about the fact that you're climbing with socks on. Found it pretty hilarious. Keep it up! (he said: Elle grimpe avec des chaussettes?!)
Amazing! Hahah, that's funny. :)
Wait until they realise I’m also wearing two different models of shoe!
Congrats to your first 7a. I have a similar goal for this year :D (although it does not have to be Fontainebleau, I would be happy about it no matter in which area) How slopy is the first hold you go to with your right hand? Have you also tried e.g. "Ça Tend à Droite"? I haven't tried it when I was there as I felt I did not have enough Crash Pads and I did not feel safe enough. However, it looked pretty nice and is also located in Roche aux Oiseaux.
I haven't tried that problem, but it sounds interesting. Roche aux Oiseaux is a great location so I'd like to go back. It's pretty sloped, but you're coming from underneath it so it doesn't feel so bad. Good luck with your first 7a! :D
Well done Hannah
Cheers Carl!
Please could do a video of how you train for climbing? Or do you just climb? Thank you
Nice one! It looked like it went down quite easy, you can do more then one 7A👊 keep crushing
Thanks! Hoping to get a few more under my belt this year. Hopefully Albarracin will have a couple that suit me. 🥳
@@hannahmorrisbouldering I'm sure you will finde some👊 looking forward to see more videos👍
Surprised myself by sending this last week end. Don't think its quite 7a but a nice climb nonetheless. Also it's "gorj o cha"
That looks like so much fun. How did you get into this?
Hi Zach. I started climbing at my local gym and enjoyed it so much that I began to climb outside. Now I spend most of my free time climbing! :)
Where in Fonainebleu is it?
And how much do you train per week?
I wanna know this because I have to climb a 7A in Fonainebleui from my climbing teacher (the boss of my bouldering hall)
YOU ARE SO GOOD AT CLIMBING
ps: I hope you answer!❤️
It's funny because in french we say Bleau not Font Ahaha
That's funny! I think we pronounce the end of the word quite a bit differently too!
@@hannahmorrisbouldering yeah definitely ! I hope to meet you and Nathan someday over there !
FYI it is now 6C+
nice
Very nice, congrats! I have to say though, the pronunciation of 'droite' is quite a bit different :D
Thanks! My pronunciation is truly terrible! 😳
🦅🌹🇹🇷🦅
This is a 6a meybe 😂
Anche ad Albarracin ha messo un video di 7a ( la Rave) facendo in realtà un 6b che si chiama " La Rave derecha" 🤣
I did La Rampe Finie at font. 6c+/7a. I wouldn't grade it any higher than 6b if I did a first ascent
I guess you climbed a lot before starting making youtube videos 😃
You and your channel rocks! -from a Norwegian amateur climber 🧗♂️
Aewsome! Love the knee! ;)
Thanks! Can’t beat a technical knee!
