Richmond on the kitchen ceiling cracks me up every time. 😂🤣😅
Class visual joke. The direction of this series contributes to the comedy so much, the cuts and pans (usually to mosses expression) are brilliant.
This is easily the best ep of The IT Crowd.
He's like the office Phantom 😂
@@davidz3879 nope.... The Work Outing is far superior
@@necessaryevil3428 That's a great episode too.
The irony that Jens friends are weirder than her work friends
For the most part not really. Paula is completely normal, Moss' one handles alcohol really badly and was stated to have just come out of a long term relationship so was a bit party crazy which is generally transitory. Was mostly just Richmond's one that was weird AF.
I've only just realised Jen's catchphrase seems to be "TAXI!"
I believe the idea of Jen trying for love and discovering a turkey caught on after the first series. "Taxi!" became something we could all see coming, but no less funny for that.
@travelbugse2829 Similar to Elaine in Seinfeld.
It was just a running joke for this season of IT Crowd.
Its very very rare that you get a main stella cast of comedy characters who meet new characters, who instead of being the foil to their goofy antics actually turn out to be worse than they are.
The three women introduced in this episode are so awesome they actually out-goofed the main cast... Brilliant writing!
Here they dont just play victims or even match the guys, they chewed them up 😂!
Love this episode!
Richmond's girl is hilarious.
She played the same character in 'Peep Show'. She's funny.
Moss is dressed to look like Richard Burton in the movie 'Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf'.
Yes, and his hostile interaction with Margaret is sort of a parody of that movie.
What a great comedy cast of characters the 4 of these are. Perfect how they react with eachother 😂
Probably my favourite IT Crowd episode after the GAY one.
All 3 of the women who play Jen's friends have been in Peep Show.
The awkward one - April.
The model - Toni's sister Paula.
The drunk - Sophie's friend who she tries to set Mark up with.
Richmond hiding on the ceiling like a bat is my favourite moment of The I.T. Crowd, I was absolutely crying with laughter when I first saw it!
20:37 - Moss - "Who's a paedophile?!" - cracks me up every time 😆
Just going to say exactly that, the delivery is just too good
Moss is just a genius child, I love him 😂
Oh my gosh, look at me, loving this reaction to one of the funniest episodes of the show ever!
Jessica is the girl who works in the shoe shop in Peep Show. Mark follows her to Uni and ends up in her class.
Catherine Shepherd
@@RobertTaylor-gz2fu That's the one.
Paula is also, funnily enough, Paula from S1E1 and S5E1
@@2neutrino I'm pretty sure the blonde woman has briefly been in Peep Show too, as the woman in the cafe that Sophie tries to set Mark up with and he fails miserably at giving her a wink.
Forgotten how great IT Crowd was. Would definitely recommend Garth Marenghi's Dark Place as another series with Richard Ayode (Moss) & Matt Berry (Douglas). Great cheesy, absurdist series!
This is one of the best 4 minutes of darkplace I’ve ever seen
ua-cam.com/video/K9veOumGnuU/v-deo.htmlsi=nIuZGmAzd8q98Ag4
100% agree with this. Garth Marenghi's DarkPlace is perfectly absurd. And Black Books.
Skipper the Eyechild!
I'll get a mop!
Black Books is another awesome riddle!!
Please watch The Mighty Boosh!!!
I love the whole 'Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?' vibe with Margaret and Moss!
XD, the "you're hot... hold my puppy" thing reminds me of something that Douglas would do.
That thing Queen Boomer said about getting a hubby and baby from making the first move was lovely ❤
Agreed. Women should make the first move more often.
They have no idea how heartwarming that was!
All 3 of the women at the dinner party were in peep show
Does anyone else think King and Queen would LOVE Black Books?!?
The episode where Douglas leads a fitness class for his staff is one of the funniest things.
8:05 ‘some kind of *stupid mouse*’ 😂
I think this may be my fave IT Crowd episode.😅
This has to be the funniest and most perfectly crafted 30 minutes of TV comedy ever aired.
So Jen had the man of her dreams, only to leave him because his name was Peter File. Could he not have just changed his name?? It costs less than £50.
Great reaction to a great episode!
The song playing at the end is Game of Pricks by Guided by voices…this episode introduced me to the band!!
lol, sex noises from richmond here "do i amaze you" - throwback to first time jen met him and he said that. easy to miss but very funny
Another great British comedy series I think that the two of you will love is Coupling. It’s about a group of friends about the same age as you. The scripts are absolutely brilliant, check it out.
Yes, I'm baffled at it never having been popular.
Good suggestion.. I loved that show.
Yes, I've suggested this here before so I'll just jump on the bandwagon.
Freaking love coupling! I still occasionally watch Jack davenport’s monologue rants for a laugh.
@@amberdawn5372 Yes, but why wasn't it popular? Most people whom I mention it to haven't heard of it.
Moss and Margaret...HILARIOUS😂😂😂
So Richmond is played by Noel fielding..who is a comedy genius in his own right..and given your love of the strange goofy wacky etc you should watch the show he did with Julian Barrett, “the mighty boosh” it’s a surreal piece of magnificence..👍
"Oh look at me, having an o--" became a running joke in a past relationship because of this episode.
King boomer almost showing his little prince 😮😂
One of my favorite episodes.
The music at the end is a band called Guided By Voices. The song is called Game of Pricks. I love them!
Richmonds lady friend has a part in peep show with Mark in later seasons
Catherine Shepherd
She's a great actress.
I love how you have the baby in the same room.
Parent of two here, and we always got flak for keeping baby in the same room and how it would "wake them" but never did. When they go out they go out, can watch TV and everything fine.
I always thought it as best as if an issue can respond quicker than having to navigate through rooms to check
Agreed mate. It’s sad to carry the Bub for 9 months , then throw them in a room alone. My babies are in their 30s now❤
I always found that babies sleep better when there's background noise, if you can't get them to sleep start vacuuming or put on loud-ish music 😂
@@nessiferum6200 they be great at my foster parents often their neighbours through parties with loud music into the morning ...
Boomer you and your wife seem like such nice people. You can just tell you’re a sweetheart it’s really nice. Good guy
I say Brie-lliant all the time. Thanks, Moss.
Tay-paz! 😆
This is one of the best episodes.
This is my favourite episode even though the theatre one is probably funnier overall, there's certain bits in this that just kill me like Richmond pretending to be intellectual at the dinner party: "balsamic vinegar". The bit where he's stuck to the ceiling is my favourite bit in the whole of IT Crowd. This is also the one with that amazing song "Game Of Pricks".
As funny as this is, you Boomers were just as funny:
King: _"If you wanted to look at my dick"_
Queen: _"There's a hole"_
King: _"Oh yeah... there is a hole"_
LMAO 😂😂😂😂
One of my favourite episodes 🙂
I think (25:44) ..that that bit is a spoof of 'Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf' in which Elizabeth Taylor played _Martha_ the recalcitrant wife to Richard Burton's long-suffering, cardigan-wearing _George_
I've been waiting for this episode. 😂
The hole in your shorts killed me 😂
My wife insists we do baby talk at home. She hates my normal voice sometimes because she says i sound too serious. its embarrassing when I forget and we do it in public or in front of family.
"PETER FILE" 😂😃😆😳😂😃😆😅😜
Jus so you know, the BAM BAM BAM intro is quality!😂the way QB tries to speak before each BAM, just cracks me up🎉🎉
Nah😢
Can't wait till season 3 and the " The Speech", "Friendface" & "Calendar Geeks" episodes where they really get on a roll! and virtually all of Season 4 is just amazing. I am glad they ended the series on a High with a single Episode for Season 5. IT Crowd is literally one of my absolute favourite shows. So glad you are enjoying it.
Ah it's nice that you brought King Boomers cot into the bedroom.
You have so many amazing episodes coming. When they start using Douglas more things get wild
catherine shepherd is so funny as the awkward female character
The woman that Moss is trying to get away from was in my personal favorite British sitcom titled "Miranda". If at any time you could react to that show I'd be so happy.
Mirands is hilarious. A great comedy.
You guys need to add Coupling to your UK show list as it's a really funny adult version of Friends that came out in the 90s. You won't regret it!
They would be so perfect for reacting to Coupling!
@@byronhunt6124 Say less! 👍
Hilarious KB - I recommend watching unlucky Alf (Paul Whitehouse), either way looking forward to more IT crowd lol😂
you need to do Black Books or Spaced after this if youve not done them yet...
Not often the reactions in a reaction vid are as funny as the comedy...you two crack me up.
love how richmond asks for the strongest alcohol but settles on the weakest beer with carlsberg lol
If you like the inbetweeners and Father Ted you would like Derry girls. Set in 90s in Northern Ireland, mad teenagers. Very very funny
It’s great to see American perspectives on British sitcoms. It seems we do laugh at the same things. In fact, in my top ten sitcoms I would definitely include Frasier, Cheers and MASH alongside Father Ted, Only Fools and Horses, The IT Crowd, Black Books, The Mighty Boosh, Fawlty Towers and Lead Balloon.
You can't forget Peep Show surely?
You guys should really watch "Come dine with me", complete strangers are invited around each other's homes for dinner parties, and at the end of the week they rate each other's party.
The winner gets a cash prize, but obviously some snarkiness and backstabbing occurs
Plus the Narrator does the most snarkiness 😂
What a sad little life Jane
Are they always strangers?
theres a norwegian parody where they all get super drunk that would also be fun to watch "ylvis- 4-stjerners middag"
@@davidz3879yep and they're generally people with very clashing opinions and personalities too.
YES FINALLY NEW IT CROWD REACTION 🙌🏻
Defo one of my favourite eps - halarious!
Callie showing some initiative when man hunting clearly was successful, a husband and a child later, woman approaching men works, don’t wait for men if you see a good deal! Try before you buy doesn’t hurt, use your initiative women!✌️❤️🇬🇧
She's omitting the fact that she friendzoned him for years, which she repeatedly told us about on here last year. She hasn't said why she changed her mind - probably because either his status/wealth/looks improved or she realised she couldn't have a Chad to herself.
@@RobertTaylor-gz2fuwhat a sad little human being you are. You’ve got a weird obsession pal. Get a life…
@@RobertTaylor-gz2fu She friendzoned me for years? I had no idea! I just thought we were friends for years... guess I need to go to the comments to find out about my own life!
@@KingBoomer You must have realised all along that she friendzoned you for the first few years you knew each other. You were attracted to her from early on, but she decided for the first few years that you were friendship material only. You didn't want to only be friends for those years, hence you were friendzoned.
You've both talked on this channel about the friendzoning, though what hasn't been said is why she friendzoned you or what, a few years later, changed her mind. Being friendzoned is very common; being upgraded is much less common.
@@RobertTaylor-gz2fumen and women can be friends without trying to pork each other you know. And how come I didn’t friendzone her? What if we were dating other people back then? What if I was gay at the time? What if she was gay at the time? lol bottom line is telling other people about our past when you weren’t there and have no idea what you’re talking about is weird and disingenuous.
The word paedophile has been said far to many times in this reaction
...😂✌🏻🇬🇧
Dolly Wells plays Paula has been in a number of series...Her best is in "DRACULA" (Netflix with Claus Bang) its VERY GOOD!!! AND FROM A DIFFERENT POINT OF VIEW...A NUN.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Every episode from now on in is top level comedy. In all series.
when this episode was originally aired Assassins Creed had not been released in the UK yet which made it more of a great scene
Try watching David Armand in his interpretive dance to music where he interprets songs with his body actions while the guest has earphones on just so funny.
One of my favourite episodes, I knew someone they took loads of stuff to bed 😂😂
The actress playing Moss' date auditioned for the role of Jen. For part of the audition, she was asked to act like her shoes were hurting. So she took them off. She was obviously not cast and when you see Katherine's Jen in painful shoes, you can see why they chose her.
How can your baby sleep over your laughs. 😂😂
Well how much insulation is there, in the womb? Amazes me that women go to rock concerts while pregnant...no thought of bubs...and then it's walking around on egg shells once born, so you don't wake baby hahahaha. Right? It has to be a noisy place on there. Just carry on with normality wouldn't bubs be used to it?
my wife and I do the 'act normal....more normal' bit all the time 🤣 Love this episode
Brilliant! Cheers guys!
I think this beats Father Ted in that the writing had to be tighter, and the writers and cast rose to that challenge - edgy stuff _had_ to happen here because it's only really work that puts these characters into the same space.
FT on the other hand was far more situational - the characters there were pretty much trapped in that environment (that feckin' Island as Father Jack said) and didn't need major events to propel them into sticky situations. FT was probably easier to writer once the characters had been established and also felt more 'comfy'.
FT still wins overall though IMO, but only by a short margin..
That peter file scene is absolute gold.
Moss: "We've all Changed" - puffs on his cigarette.
great stuff, great reaction!
33:15 You're showing brain Brian 🤣
Great episode "We've all changed.....!" XD
One of the best episodes yet!
The funniest part about this is how they all perform at the party contrasting to their normal selves
Roy - The most socially competant of the bunch - Gets told "I can do better"
Moss - The socially awkward one that hasn't known a relationship - Suddenly in a long term relationship
Richmond - The freaking goth who got banished to a room for being so weird - Scores multiple times with someone who isn't even one herself.
I love you two. So many fun stories.
*-MUPPETS-* 😂 What a great show guys keep up the good work
Never mind the water bottle, it's the giant bar of Cadburys whole nut you need to be worried about.
If you roll over on it in the night you wake up with it melted all up your back thinking you've had a nutty shit in your sleep.
✌️❤️🇬🇧
I did this with a Mars bar before, genuinely thought I shat my pants
Thanks for the puppy idea
Wholesome reaction guys
When you laugh, I can see the outline of your skull....oooh, i.t. crowd...does not...err...computer...omgosh!!
Hi guys!! Have you reviewed “Derry Girls, Blackadder, Peter Kays - Phoenix Nights, Ricky Gervais’s - Life’s too Short, Fawlty Towers, Only fools and horses,The league of gentleman, The thin blue line, Gimme Gimme Gimme”….. all of them are pretty good but some of them might go over American heads!!
SOCIALLY INEPTNESS SQUARED!!!😜😜😜😜😜
The Kings hole, not to be mistaken for The Kings Speech but still just as revealing
You only see it once a year 😂😂
I have tissues and a packet of biscuits/cookies under my pillow 😂
Random access memory, or ram is different to the storage memory or hard disk. It's the memory needed to run the computer processes not actually store data. I think.
Yes - essentially the short-term memory equivalent of the human brain.
16:49 How to say "for fuck's sake" through facial expression.
Wow ..well done for having the balls to ask him. 👍
Social nerds UNITE!!!
The work's outing is a very good episode.
Ram is memory. Not memory is ram
Queen boomer is adorable ❤❤
Queen Boomer's puppy story is phenomenal! I feel a bit bad for laughing but it's a great story!
