You've got to react to "Twenty Twelve," a British comedy about a committee of people all preparing for the 2012 Olympics in London. It's fictional, though obviously based on the run-up to the actual 2012 Olympics. The humor is a bit more dry and less bizarre than "The IT Crowd." But it does a great job of making fun of bumbling bureaucrats. I thought of it just now because the actress playing the woman who visits Denholm Industries plays one of the main characters in "Twenty Twelve."

When you were highlighting objects in the background I remembered that fans of the show would send items such as electronic gadgets, signs etc and they were sometimes included in the show?
About stage fright: here in the Netherlands we had back then a famous publisher who was important in the "Temperance movement". But after he died a vriend of him told he had stage fright and always had a stiff drink before speaking to the members of that anti alcohol club... My grandfather was often present at that meetings and was furious when he learned his role model was drinking...
The guys the play Moss and Douglas are in the animation series Krapopolis. It is ok series, in its first season.
Unfortunately, Christopher Morris who played Denholm Reynholm, was not a voice actor for Rome Total War II. The main voice actor from that game was Mark Strong, a prolific film and television actor.

Get some tartan paint, as well. 😉
I can hear him saying "Its over April". XD
A sports bra offers excellent support and is recommended for comfort and sweat resistance in the tropics, better than 2 halves of coconut and cotton string in Florida!✌️🇬🇧❤️
Did you know that The IT Crowd and Plebs had the same producer? Caroline Leddy. The maestro of comedy...also known for The Inbetweeners, Friday Night Dinner and The Four Lions. Hooray! I understand she's involved in a new series and can't wait to see it.
22:00 That BBC interview mistake is actually something that happened, check out Guy Goma 2006. This episode aired the following year.
When I was growing up in the early 2000s, Simon Cowell had a show called Pop Idol, that then became The X Factor. It doesn't exist anymore because people stopped watching it after seeing the same thing for 15 years in a row. We still have Britain's Got Talent though, which is his other one. Also, everyone hates Tony Blair because of Iraq. He knew there weren't any WMDs there, but told parliament and the public there were. He's a war criminal.
7:45 - Really?? That's truly widespread then!, where does that originate? Cause we used to do that here in Norway too. Blinker fluid. That brought back memories =)
As someone who works in IT...yes, it does stand for "internet technician" - for sure.
Ha! "Internet Technician" Queen. Never change. Memory _is_ RAM!
Information Technology - you're welcome lol
Matt Berrys Toast on London is hilarious aswell guys.
Blinker fluid... reminds me of WiFi cables 😂
Awwwwwww, that baby is so precious
Smoke and mirrors: Be careful how you process what you are apparently seeing, It may well be an indistinct, distorted reflection of the real truth.
Moss on the panel is like Roy faking being disabled, but with much serious repercussions! 😅
Richard Ayoade is on Brit game show, movies "THE WATCH", and author!!❤❤❤❤❤
I know a guy who, for some inexplicable reason, always does his presentations with an American accent. He's from Nottingham, England. Even he doesn't know why he does it :)
That actually did happen when some poor guy going to the bbc for a job interview was mistaken for an expert spokesman they were having on the news. Think the video is still floating about haha
Matt Berry - Douglas Reynholm is a voice over actor.
8:27 Builders in the uk like to send the new kid out for a "long weight" All builder stores are in on the joke and will leave standing any guy coming in the store asking for one. They leave him waiting for hours 😂😂😂🇬🇧
Thank god Jen didn't tell the heads of department that IT stands for Internet Technician either 🤣
Kinda funny you asked what IT stands for at the start, that will come up again in this series :)
IT is Information Technology by the way.
I think you should watch green wing. It’s got the guy who plays Jim in Friday night supper in it.. have you seen that before. Every prayer and blessing for your intentions. God bless. Thanks for the videos
25:35 Respects Brian. We had the traitor Blair who dragged us in so don't feel bad
22.41 happened in real life on the BBC, UA-cam "Guy Goma: 'Greatest' case of mistaken identity on live TV ever? BBC News"
IT - Information Technology
I guys have you reviewd The League of Gentleman late nineties british sitcom
Thank you. Your apology is appreciated.
I take it y'all don't already watch What We Do in the Shadows considering Matt Berry is new to you but ... I recommend it. It has a fair few British folk in the cast, including Matt Berry. Really great mockumentary about vampires living in modern America.
Is it time for Only Fools and Horses or is the lingo/slang too hard for them to get, its the funniest show ever made and timeless
he's dong all the only fools and horses on patreon :)
Yay more IT crowd
1:53
Nope; IT stands for Information Technology; basically a description of a career that involves working with computers within a company.
The phrase 'The IT (the word it, mot the abbreviation) crowd' is a phrace for the cool crowd, people you'd want to be seen with. They combined the word IT (as in Information Technology' with the word crowd, to make up the title name and combine both meanings.
The interviewer talking about Iraq is a very high profile political journalist called Kirsty Wark.
Denham renham is definitely an American businessman who may become a politician, he seems like a character who went to school where there’s a production line of them, not far from an under 12 impersonation of one.😃✌️❤️🇬🇧
No IT stands for Information Technology
