The 250w limit is a nominal power output, the new dji motor is a 1000w in boost and is still legal, but a throttle is not unless its a very early ebike or it only works while peddling.
Thanks DUDE this helped me a lot with the menu settings to get the speeds going. Oh Yeah I'm flyin now on this thing. I'm super newbie on this. I can't figure out though how to unlock the battery locking mechanism I don't think it really explains in the manual. Or I just got to push something harder? Cheers. Great places you are riding in. Hopefully this is decent in Snowy Canada 🤣😇
Ok dude was woundering I got ebike with 48v 10mh but I got another spare battery 48v17mh? How would I connect the two batteries together do I need fazer lead cuz ones higher than the other but both 48v I wish u lived near me lol hopefully hear from u soon and liking the 70s look ebike nice too.😮🎉🎉🎉😊
I was going to get this one but at the time they were all out and i was a little bit worried about the power and how the police will take it so i asked the police about if it's locked at 15 mph and no throttle is it okay all they said was as long as the motor cuts out at 15 mph and no throttle it's okay just don't ride like a idiot and we don't care but now it's too late to get the x70 be nice if it's was a better colour LoL but it looks good i may sale my b6 if it comes in other colours
They dont seem to be overly concerned about the surron skull mask brigade round my way doubt if a 59 year old on an "illegal" ebike is gonna send them into a frenzy😂
@@tylerhamilton-nz8qsthey haven’t got the resources outside of London to be able to do that, I mean seriously there are 3 coppers on duty for most of the day covering my entire area. Granted it is rather rural but it seems they don’t patrol and just sit at the station until needed so I don’t worry about them while on my bike.
@@DudeStuff "E-bikes in the UK are limited to a maximum power output of 250 watts, and the motor must cut out once the bike reaches 15.5 mph." Notice the 'and' lol, it's not like you can choose. Limiting to 15mph doesn't magically also limit the motor power to 250w. And other way around, I can give my motor 750w while limited to 15mph, but when put on a dynometer they will still fine me once, then second time impound the bike. Because my speed isn't the only thing they measure, that's why it's called a dynometer.
Before you sai that this is illegal and ........ think about who are the c ....s that write those laws against the people and why. If you buy a ebike and you only get 15 with pedal assist than it defeats the purpose of the ebike.

The little breaks are really nice mate, they give your videos more of a storyline & "breathers" so to speak.
My mate is picking this up from you on Tuesday! looks like so much fun!
Love this bike managed to grab a quick test drive, rides like a dream!!!!!

Really wanted buy this bike off you dident have money at time ....Awesome bike love everything about that ...
what is the brake performance on it? Do the breaks feel weak at all?

The ebike convert kits.... do i really need to add the electric brakes and PAS? I mean i probably will but is it needed
@RoughWalkers I don't bother you don't need to for it to work
@@DudeStuff aghhh nice one appreciate all the banging advice
A guy in America just tested this said it's more like 1200w peak!
@tylerhamilton-nz8qs yeah, most likely over 1000
First thing, swap out the controller itd be a fast likkle bike
I PUT 2 1500W MOTORS ON IT AND IT GOES 38 MPH. LG!!
£1200 is a relative bargain. Just compare that to what Halfords sell for the same price!

Terry Tibbs Love child, Talk to me
in a few more years these bikes will be dirt cheap i reckon, they are majorly over priced atm thats my opinion anyway
@jimmyjimmy-k5c unlikely the batteries are expensive I don't see that changing
750watt motor limited to 15mph isn’t making it legal, if they stop you they will take it
Don't think the throttle helps the legality either!!!!
It's not like they don't know, they just don't care.
@fireblaster9961 it is legal in UK. Most ebikes are over 250w just limited
