I appreciate the level of detail of your description while also demonstrating the process that was described. There were a few moments when you were speaking about things that sounded, from how you were presenting those points, to be important. Yet there was a visual of the floor or the bike crank which was unrevealed this was rustrating!!

Yeah these things are a lot of fun. Try to use a 4 stroke motor. Tons more torque than a 2 stroke motor.

That's such a cool project. Can that motor work for a skateboard?

Good Work ! I Spray a few layers of Flex Seal or Undercoating Rubber Spray on The Peg.. It Grips Much Better With Rubber on Rubber (I Used to Use Rubber Hose.. But It Would Tear Up in No Time.. Like Radiator Hose Or ?? NOT Recommended..lol)

The use of flex seal is a great idea. Does it help much when the bicycle wheel gets wet? I would think it would. Thanks for commenting as well as watching the video,

@@didifixthat7910 ... I Watched 4.. including the Race..Lol. ... Anyways, Yes.. It Helps A Lot in The Wet.. Was The reason I'd Put old Radiator Hose on and Clamp It Or Sometimes Zip tie it.. The Heat generated Seems to Dry It Out Fast.. whereas the bare metal gets cooled and basically gets lubricated on the Tire... You could Try It and Maybe do A Follow Up Video, If You'd Like?

i was looking around at doing a small project like this for a while, i've got a couple weedeaters laying around, and i was looking at video's like yours for a refrence of where to begin, and low and behold your bike is the same as mine, would it be possible to make this setup into a chain drive? Thanks!

Hey. Thanks for posing that question. Yes I did actually attempt it. The main issue is with gearing and the fact that the way I had mine designed it was direct drive. That being said, I couldn’t get the engine rpm high enough to start the engine. If you could some how develop a clutch system you could possibly get it to work. Good luck with your project. If you don’t mind keep me posted, I’d love to see a video of it in action.
