“Instant Death Chest” In reality, he has no hp because he hasn’t healed, and he has a helmet that can mitigate the damage were he to remember that he has it.
The Desert's Fury does indeed change based on your class. Wizards and Sorcerers get the staff you did, Druids get a scimitar, and all other classes get a flail. At least according to the information I was able to find, which was surprisingly little.
Hi, Dave, thanks for your vids, they're really entertaining:) btw, you actually can't use item properties, such as spells, if you didn't equip that item first
The blackguard! Such a ridiculously broken enemy - completely impossible for most builds on Very Difficult or even Core difficulty. I can tell you it is definitely not easier with a fighter. When I start a character in this game it is with the sole aim of being able to handle this fight.
Anyone having flashbacks to half hour long dragon fights?

Monks get a kama. Multiclass characters get whichever non-prestige class they have most levels in.

I was surprised he did not get that, as he did know you have to equip the ring to use it in Chapter 1.
You were correct: being deafened gives you 20% spell failure
You gotta start paying more attention to the combat log 😂 your putting your self at a disadvantage cause it literally tells you everything
release these vids more often plz i am really into this :D
This fight was ridiculous, I probably tried seven before getting lucky.
*yelling* YOU DID I WRONG!

Deekin has lots of Use Magic Device. The real reason he can't use the staff is he's Small and it's a Large weapon
