The clothes and the hairstyles are so mod. Carol’s haircut is stunning on her, and her wrap dress divine. Mike’s electric blue shirt highlights his hair color/skin tone and eyes elegantly. Greg is a very mature young man to be planning far ahead. Of course, the house is iconic in its family friendly design, popular colors of the era, and it is always immaculate with everything in place. It’s a TV show that highlights the best in life.
I learned to ride a two wheeler around age 7. If that was more or less Greg's age too then Mike and Carol hadn't even met yet, on account of still being married to their first spouses. But that look on Greg's face makes the whole scene worthwhile in the end.
Yeah that's right! Wait a minute, Greg had to have been riding a bike before Mike and Carol got married so how can she worry when he got a bike when they haven't even met yet? 🤔
@@bonnieriffle8371 ....in their podcasts, both Barry and Christopher have acknowledged storyline inconsistencies and illogical aspects of the sitcom during their weekly, in depth analyses of one particular episode
We are a farm family and my son was driving a farm truck and had and accident a few years back( he’s fine, I wasn’t:) it scares me to think when he will be driving soon.. his dad can teach him, not me!!!
2:03 Carol: "Now, I was worried enough when you got a bicycle..." Surely, Greg would have been old enough to be familiar with handling a bike before Carol and Mike even met. LOL!
There's a good bit of trivia in season two about each of the other kids aside from Barry Williams having one episode they didn't appear in and this was the one that was missing Cindy!
When Greg got hired, then fired on his first day, someone once said that they read in a book about the Brady Bunch was that Greg got fired for making lousy coffee.
Why did Greg make a big deal out of this, making it sound like he got a girl pregnant or something? 😂 Also, do you think Greg would be the kind of guy today who would blame others for not being able to afford their own housing just because HE could, considering on when he started his career, etc.?
Robert Reed was such a great actor. He was the one that anchored the series.
The Brady Bunch really captured the essence of first half of the 70's. Eight Is Enough captured the second half of the 70's.

I give Greg kudos for wanting to get a job to save instead of just saying "I need money to get a car!"
I liked Greg's face when Carol said, Now I was worried enough when you got a bicycle! That was funny!
I assume he was riding a bike way before she and Mike were married.

And in the end, he became a doctor. Jan became an architect. Both sound like winners to me!
At least Greg is going save money for a car
❤I really love the Brady Bunch
Another one of my favorite eps involving Greg and cars!

And I think Mary Tyler Moore captured the first half of the 70s
Plot twist, Greg became a doctor.
When Greg got hired, then fired on his first day, someone once said that they read in a book about the Brady Bunch was that Greg got fired for making lousy coffee.
I think Family captured the second half of the 70s better
This is the 2nd episode where Greg said he wanted to be an architecht
Nowadays they go and steal one................

Looks like Greg let go of his dream of being a Major League Baseball star.
Today he would demand that the government buy him a car and stage a protest if he didn’t get his way.
