I have that same tree playlet part. It's from a few different Chap Mei jungle playlet. Picked mine up for about $1.50 at a thrift shop. So glad I happened on this video by mistake. I have been wondering what to do with it as far as making a custom piece. Love what you did. Thanks for sharing.
such a shame over here in England we have car boot sales, but people charge ridiculous amounts for things, that $.25 bag of animals you bought theyd ask about £5 over here
Hey there, I just found your channel and I'm loving the content. Your tips video had some things I had never heard of. I do however have a suggestion: moving your microphone further from your mouth and slightly offset from where you are facing should reduce peaking and popping. I'll try and find a video that explains it well for you.
ua-cam.com/video/uO8p-SLGTKI/v-deo.html 3 minutes in he mentions setting the gain which I forgot to mention, basically when the recording reaches the maximum volume it peaks and sounds weird. The way to stop that is to lower your gain so that the recording gets fairly high on the audio level graph in Audacity without being in the red zone. At 6:40 he covers microphone positioning, you probably don't have to move the mic far from you to prevent peaking but you might want to experiment with different distances and appropriate gain levels to find what sounds best. ❤ Anyways, keep up the great work!
Great work and great video, but would love to see a slightly slower timelapse. :P It was too quick and couldn't see all of that great skill. Haha. But seriously, Love the video and it gave me tons of ideas!
We have always considered it but we never have. I did a big long recording but we found that editing 4hrs a week of video and audio was WAY tooo much lol. We DO stream some of our sessions (audio only) on our sister channel TableTalk, check it out :) discord.com/channels/670077457696555008/730801503647826100
The idea of you repainting those Jurassic Park Raptors kind of... well I'd check to see if some of these toys have any value as collectables before using them for crafts.... Especially the Jurassic Park toys. Just my two cents.
Ah that my friend is the cadaver master, homebrew monster for my game. Made of sculpey, aluminum foil and shishkabob base. You can see the finished one just after my fleshy mouth pit at 0:55 on my "welcome to my channel" video ua-cam.com/video/J1ozr-ySbTg/v-deo.html
First comment still watching 😁 , alrighty man that looks amazing i like how the finished product turned out , a challenge eh hmm ill try but dont judge me harshly . Also by when does it have to be done ? . Hope you dont mind i do large scale .
Great art is never done so I hear so take your time! I honestly would just love to see what you can make but ya know maybe within the next year or so would be nice :p the larger the better!
Unfortunately, I didn't do a video on the large action figure, but the main steps are a brown base coat, a sort of tannish dry brush followed by a green one. Then you just glue lots of moss and aquarium plants to it!
Ok your figures are awesome, but pleaso dont use those oled jurassic park dinosaurs. They are seeked by collectors so when they are intact just leave em how they are.
I didn't know that! I havent used em for anything yet and still have em tucked away somewhere. I think they are missing chunks out of them though (the t rex at least)
@@CriticalCrafting Yeah, when there are parts missing its no big deal, also the Raptors tend to have broken off claws when you find em second hand. But the Raptors you got there look pretty much new, not even chipped off paint or stuff like that. Better put em away safe 😉 They were made in the 90s by a toy company named Kenner after the first Jurassic park movie came out. And to make them distinguish fromm all the other dinosaur toys out there, they made em kinda high quality (thats also why they have that jp tag on them, to make kids tell their parents they want the ones with the jp mak cause they are the good ones ^^)
I will never again shop for decorative aquarium pieces. I’ll just keep an eye out for garage sales.
Also Garage sale crafters' challenge should become a regular thing.
That would be awesome trouble is we only have em in the spring here :/

I really enjoy your energy and the editing! Happy I stumbled across your channel.
Thanks! Art/crafting/tabletop games/garage sales get me PUMPED!
If you size change your party, you don't have to worry about scale :D this video is so much fun!
I just found your channel, love this stuff man!
thanks so much :) working on a big Con video or two
Oooh... this looks way fun! Definitely doing this when things get better.
It really is a blast!
I LOVE garage sales! Even though there might be nothing I want, there is always something interesting.
Glad to see a fellow enthusiast! I adore garage sales. Take off a day of work each year to go to a big association one here in town :)
This was very cool and inspirational! Thanks for the tips :)

Man that sucks... time to start a new fad!
I had one of those jurassic park raptors as a kid btw
Nice. I got most of my minis from the fleemarket or from the cheap item section in shops when toy series get discontinued.
Sound like 5header have you ever watched his channel? He mashes up custom minis that are really interesting.
Great tips! Thanks.

@@uckfayooglegay9982 Thanks! Will definitely give this a watch, audio has been one of my struggle spots for sure
OMG I miss my original Battle Damage T-Rex Jurassic Park toy!!!! I'm so jealous, even if you didn't get the rubber skin patch that covers the gore!
I was actually excited it didn't have the patch, easier to turn into a zombie ;)
Sadly we don't have garage sales here in Bulgaria.
Very nice vid yeah love the garage sales. Get creative with making gaming terrain. And the most important lesson? NEVER PAY RETAIL.
Lol true that Chris P 🥓

Someone else said the same thing, I pulled them up on ebay, worth about 20 bucks a pop so hey! More garage sale gold!
I need yard sales to come back. UnU

Can someone link the video of him making that statue of the large action figure?
it looks dope. thank you in advance!

Also, why did I see this Monday instead of yesterday, when I could have gone to garage sales! Now I have to wait until Saturday :(
Drat! I'm just glad I was able to get it out while garage sales are still in season!
