A trick for covering those holes is to first make a "stamp" from the skin texture from a little piece of two-part silicone mold material. After you put the GS over the hole, press the stamp over the GS to give it the same skin texture as the rest of the toy. And you can save the texture stamp for later crafts.

A couple of dowel rod sails on that ship would be super easy and take the ship to a whole new level. Great video. I recently bought a whole box full of fish aquarium decorations for 3 dollars, it had a temple arches, and a bunch of columns, they will make great terrain.
The guy who said they divvy up the Warhammer stuff was probably telling the truth and the other guy was saying that it was a joke because he didn't want him and his buddies to get in trouble. Truth is they're not allowed to divvy up the stuff like that, it has to go out on the floor first and they have to wait like I think 2 weeks before they're allowed to buy it themselves. I used to have a friend that worked at Goodwill and according to her part of the contract is that you're not even allowed to have a yard sale or anything like that, because they expect you to donate everything to them.
I did not know that! I am going back there this weekend if the weather allows it so I will have to see if that dude is even working there anymore. Again I would agree with you because I said nothing about warhammer.

I found this little adventurer guy at a thrift store that I go to. They have $0.40 toys and I liked the way he looked. It has a pretty bad paint job (I don’t really want to try and fix it because I have no paint and I’m awful at painting)
But he has a translucent torch in one hand and he’s pulling out a sword in the other. I think it’s probably my best one.
If I see an pipe organ I see Davy Jones playing on with his tentacles (or some mind flayer)

i like the mechanical spiders. they have that same metallic coppery feel dwarven stuff from the elder scrolls video game series has.

The hand/forearm is definitely part of a Ghost Rider model kit from the 90's. On a finished model there would be spikes where the circles are.

That T. rex and Easter island head are both McDonald’s Night at The Museum Battle of The Smithsonian toys, I know because I remember having one of them as a kid and I remember the card slot was used to activate them.
These videos are awesome, I love seeing how you can take things from cheap places and (going a step further than I can do) painting them to look amazing! I was surprised by the reveal of the mechanical spider paint job, it looked so good.
Painting simple metals colors is easy if you have a dark base then lightly drybrush. I need to work on using non metalic colors to create more intricate paintjobs.
Hafe to admit this is a pretty good find with the mechanical spider and the cool tree like monster.
That spider came from one of those vacuform kits where you cover plastic models with printed films.
I’ve got this and a shark that came from that kit.
Recently stopped by a craft store for whatever reason , and noticed that they had Christmas village models set up, (not very cheap, but a themed thing if you plan on having any sort of holiday special,) However I also did notice that there was blank wooden bird houses, some shaped like basic castles and towers, as well as 2 dollar packets of plastic farmer, and farmers family figurines (Awfuly painted but still in scale with most dnd and pathfinder stuff(or close to atleast)). Hope I was of any help for future goodwill esc endeavors.
I've found some good stuff at Goodwill. I recently found a box of nail art gems in over a dozen colors that are the perfect size for rivets. The red ones made great eyes for giant spiders. Recently I found a bag of coral that will make interesting scatter terrain.
Creative stuff here. I am all for UP-cycling and I try to do it as much as possible here in Sweden. Goodwill is a great store for this. Thanks for all of the fun ideas!

Got some sweet painted terrain from a pet store when I was a kid. Some ruins, a bridge, still use them to this day

Volunteered at a Goodwill once, the workers there most definitely take the good stuff. I saw it first hand when sorting in the backroom they would pick things out they liked and set them aside for themselves, the two managers got fired for doing this and not paying for the items, I'd assume most Goodwills deal with this s well, like the videos btw man! keep it up
You should have a quest where you to get a mecha spider egg the hatches into the mecha spiderling from its mom in a pet quest & then it would grow into its larger form which means you can ride it!
easter island statue is a macdonalds niht of the museum toy, you used to have a cardboard cart you had to put in the hole under the mouth and something would happen

Oh man EVERYONE has found a Hero Quest game at thriftstores except for me.
I was found some nice chess figure ( king and queen modeled realistically ) on our local fly market ant transformed them in to a nice statue in a center of my town! :)
the hand thing would do great as an iron maiden in a torcher room
oh and an idea have a mimic piano my adventures brought me to one recently

It's not "Mega Star", it's "Mega Brands", formerly "Mega Bloks".... No idea where it's from specifically though, any search for Mega Brands or Mega Bloks and "spider" just gives you a buncha Spider-Man results.

I know for a fact that the goodwill employees take merch. I know a lady who hoards it all and has a table at the flea-market. She pays .25$ per item ( clothing, toys, books, phone chargers, cds, dishes...anything) and sells it at the local flea-market.

Hey just now i noticed that weird statue that you found with a face and and filled it with greenstuff is probaly from some old Imaginext Castle set.The dragon head is probaly from a old Mega Blocks dragon.
I know that because i had one dragon with a exact head and i still have one of those weird statues on my toy box.
I am pretty sure that i had one of those Mc Donalds Easter Island statue but i dont know if i still have it.
I believe the spider is by the brand Mega Bloks sort of like a knock-off Lego

Only a DND shirt in Red sofar. Found bags of animals and miniatures while ive had no money so RIP to that... The minis bag was weird. Confederate, Union, Toy soldiers, Cowboys, Indians, Demons, An astronaut, Abe Lincoln. It would have been funny to make that a campaign in a bag cause it was a big bag of like 100+ things.
My hunt continues to find DND/Pathfinder/World of Darkness and other game books of sorts in the book section. Minis maybe, but Im hunting with only a few specific goals

They all seemed the same plastics. and more or less like... i dont know how to explain it. The demon was red and looked like the same plastic as that old "Dont break the Ice" game with the red skating bear.
Weird! Maybe Tim Mee miniatures then. You come across all sorts of weird stuff in thrift shops!

Blandco What is this goodwill thing you get all that stuff from? You always find "random" things. Is it like a recycle company or something like this?
Goodwill is a thrift store chain. The By the Pound locations get all the unsold stuff and random stuff they can't sell in their normal stores. $1.39 a pound for all this stuff.
Blandco they call it the bargain bin in my city.

Goodwill employees are not even allowed to purchase at the Hub stores (By the pound as you say) Also stuff has to be for sale in the ordinary GW stores at least 3 days before an employee can purchase. I drive truck for them and those are the rules.
I dunno what what to tell you. I only heard about people taking miniatures and board games second hand. Like I said that person could have been messing with me. They didn't say anything about buying anything. The guy said they just "Divvied them up" when anything like that came in because several employees played games like that. But, I have seen employees going through the bins at least once. And these were bins that just went out on the floor. Maybe it's just a poorly managed store.

Employees at my local Goodwill leave items that they want on the platform by the stockroom door and their family or friends drive by and pick it up for them. Even the manager does it...and I know that for a fact because my friend's mom's girlfriend is the manager!

I've just discovered your channel and am enjoying your cheap miniature videos, however I'm very interested in the interlocking/puzzle like terrain you are playing on. Is that something you made, or purchased?
So those are actually dungeon tiles from the Dungeon Command / D&D board game. You used to be able to get them for cheap on some stores but now you either have to buy a board game, a tile set or find them cheap on ebay. I know you used to be able to find the tile sets for cheap on Amazon but I haven't checked recently.

It’s a crafts series that lets you apply texture/pattern stickers. Different sets come with different models, like the spider, monster truck, shark, even a very cool mech/robot. I think its by Rose Art.
I had a friend who was forced to work at our local Good Will as community service so yeah, not a great job.

That is a good question. Since this was Goodwill by the pound less than $4. All this was lighter plastic. I try to remember to include the price in my newer videos.

Have you checked the flea market? If I remember correctly, at Traders Village they often have smal toys there as well. It's a hit or miss each visit but it saves a lot of money because most of the time, the ones selling the toys are the parents or grandparents just trying to earn money.
