I tried all the methods you mentioned and none restored the sound until the last one. I took the fire stick out of the hdmi port and then put it back in. Somehow that worked. Thanks for all the different solutions to try.
Glad I found this...literally had fallen asleep on the remote and turned down the volume cannot believe even after restarts etc it didn't sort it then you said try volume on the remote for the fire stick (I never used it) and hey presto it's all good again so thankyou 👍👍👍
I can hear the starting up music of the fire stick but once I do something that makes a sound it will make a screech and then the audio will no longer work. I turned off the navigation sounds and that seems to work until I use the alexa feature or try to watch a movie it will make a screech sound and the audio wont work. Any idea how to fix?
If your firetv is like mine then there's no settings option to find to restart the TV but my neighbor showed me that there's apps that can you download that will open up the my fire TV settings and lets you restart the TV which btw brought the sound back to my tv
The hdmi adapter thing is pretty shit quality when moving from diff tv to another a lot it seems to go faulty. Try just remove it and plug the stick in directly to hdmi without it, fixed my problems
Nothing works, might have to take mine back to the shop I bought it from.. these tvs are getting ridiculous with all these extra steps that you have to do 💯 smh 🙄😤😤

Mine was doing that, but disconnecting and reconnecting the Fire Stick finally worked for me.
