Yujiro doesn't need to be faster than Homelander's laser beams, he just has to be faster than Homelander's ability to turn his head while firing his eye beams.

you're correct. yujiro once caught an scorpion crossbolt being fired at him at close range... Not only did he catch the arrow But he was fast enough to catch it inches away from when it was launched from the crossbow.... And he was at least 20 feet away from the crossbow originally...

idk if this was confirmed but i remember hearing that the reason people who temporarily take compound V can go toe to toe against home lander is because of the fact that he's been many times stronger than the strongest of normal people so he's never had to train, he wears a padded suit to make himself look muscular to the public
Homelander is very strong but also lazy and unskilled, while Yujiro is always training and has mastered all sorts of martial arts
Also, get this Homelander has never been challenged by anyone as strong, but he has problems with people somewhat weaker. He doesn't have as much combat skill as Queen Maeve, and she nearly beat him. Yujiro is constantly trains and always fights.

Yujiro's speed is far superior actually. Get references from his fight with Baki and Musashi. Also, one time, yujiro literally almost teleported from Baki's house to behind a swat team who was observing him from like a mile away using binoculars before the officer finished a blink.. A BLINK.

It is likely that Yujiro has considerable heat resistance since he was able to tank a lightning, which is hotter than surface of sun. So even if the heat vision of Homelander hits, it is unlikely that it will melt trough Yujiro like it did with other guys. In the end, Soldierboy's shield withstood the heat vision by 2 people for a while, so it is clearly not insanely hot/powerful. In terms of dodging, I don't think that Yujiro can dodge heat vision/laser eyes, not fast enough to dodge something moving at speed of light
Surviving lightning isn't really anything special. Approximately 75% of people survive this. Often with disabilities afterwards but they survive. (Google information). The laser cuts people without any problems.
Alot of normal people get struck by lightning and walk away just fine, the body is very good at absorbing lightning strikes compared to something like a laser, i dont care about who wins tbh but i just wanted to point that out.

For Yujiro’s case, the lightning bolt lingered for some time. So even tho the amt of time he was being struck by lightning is not given, we can still assume Yujiro can brush off extreme levels of heat

Yujiro's earthquake stopling punch is above anything homelander has decked out. On a lower scale, punching the ground on a concrete building and having it all shake (reitei tournament) is once again quite absurd.
Also, his fight IQ is simply uncomparably higher.

But a high end scale for both would put them on equal footing strength wise if we take both their statements on being above any nuclear weapons seriously, that would put both at mountain level. And both should have hypersonic speeds which makes this match pretty even

@@helu8119It was more on the basis that he could predict that he would get struck unless he moved, not that he’s legitimately faster than lightning.
The only reason I say Yujiro would EASILY dodge the laser vision, is because homelander literally has to charge his laser vision. A regular human would theoretically be fast enough to dodge that, so long as homelanders gaze were fixed. So to me, Yujiro would have an easy time. Homelander in effect has to telegraph the fact that he will use the laser vision, which Yujiro is obviously GOING to notice and react to. Yujiro will likely sense the heat and danger coming from Homelanders eyeballs in that moment, and react accordingly.

The heat of a lightning reaches usually 20.000- 30.000°C, meaning that heat is several times hotter than the surface of the sun and would vaporise your body in a second.
But the thing is lighnings move with ca 300.000 km/s, therefore if you get hit by one, you will only be exposed to that extrem heat for like 0,000007 seconds.
Thats why people can survive it with a few burn scars.
Yujiro however got hit by a lightning for a much longer period of time (long enough for people to see his skeleton) and was completly fine afterwards, he didnt even had a burnscar.
Therefore he needs to have an inhuman heatresistance.
Imagine Homelander blasting his eyelaser and Yujiro just walks through it Unfazed.
That is enough to make Homelander panic.
This is facts because I can see that happening because member he literally took a lightning bolt to the head just by walking down the street as even God wanted some of Yujiro. He took it point blank to the skull and nonchalantly just kept walking like it was normal and there was only one time where he was walking on the street and dodged it but the same time I still believe that God still wants to have some of these hands against Yujiro.

The situation with the airplane is more about strength vs material durability. The plane wouldn't be able to be lifted by such a small person even if he's strong enough to do it. He would just pierce through the plane.

Unfortunately, this is not a problem for Yujiro. This is completely in the realms of his ability.
Yujiro would be the type to hit homelander so hard that he actually moves.. if that happens then its over, cuz yujiro going for all the weak spots.. remember, temp hero's have great durability but sometimes there organs are slightly stronger than ordinary, which means it can be exploited.. he can pop homelanders ears and even take his eyes, id like to believe that yujiro is actually faster than homelanders lasers, only of the basis that we seen baki charactere be hidden in plain sight by being out of an opponents line of sight, he can move faster than homelanders percieved eye movements and exploit that as well..

Him stopping an earthquake was retconned and it's basically bullshit. What more likely happened is he felt the tremor ending with some Baki magic bullshit and timed his punch to the end, for dramatic effect.

People don't really understand how impressive the lightning feat actually is. Humans can be struck by lightning and live, but they're not actually "struck," more like it passes through them or "hits" the ground near them. In reality lightning is more like a handshake between the sky and the ground and the positively charged electrons building up inside of the cloud break free and reach out an imaginary hand towards the earth which create a "streamer," that'll latch onto a "leader," which comes from the negatively charged earth. And then "lightning," or rather light, heat, and sound will form between the Leader and Streamer and touch mid-air. The shockwave known as thunder is because of the extremely high temperatures causing the air to expand rapidly.
Lightning struck Yujiro directly, his body was the Leader which caused lightning to form (possibly inside of him) from him. Meaning Heat comparable to the sun surrounded Yujiro while he was simultaneously shocked by the electricity imparted by the electron pathway. His internal organs, specifically his ears, are perhaps so incredibly beyond Homelander's attack potency that Homelander would be lucky if he stabbed Yujiro in the ear, unguarded, unprepared, relaxed, directly, and pierced his eardrum maybe a millimeter. Because if lightning couldn't do it, couldn't harm the very sensitive hearing organs that Yujiro possesses. Then there is nothing that Homelander can possibly do.
Lasers go at the speed of light, so they are faster than lightning.
However, Baki said that his Jab is faster than light. Assuming it wasn't an exaggeration, and considering that Musashi managed to react in time on the second Jab, we can assume that Yujiro can react at light speed.
I imagine that the USA would send Homelander to fight Yujiro, since he’s a hero in the eyes of the public, and Yujiro is not even considered human.
Homelander would face Yujiro confident as always, but he would get an unpleasant and frustrating surprise when he noticed that Yujiro, not only is not scared, but even excited to face a superhuman. Also, Yujiro has an intimidating aura around him that is impossible to ignore.
After getting the punch of his life, he would surely try to fight from a distance with his lasers, although considering Yujiro's strange biology, I'm sure the lasers wouldn't be as effective as he would like. And Homelander couldn't run away from the fight, since that would ruin his reputation, which is the most important thing to him.
Imagine yujiro beats homelander easily and is so disappointed and angry that he kills him I feel like that would likely happen
I can honestly see homeland are taking the biggest L of his life and having a full on fit willing to destroy all of Japan just to prove a point that he got beat by someone that wasn’t even in American just for Yujiro to just rip his cords where he can’t see or hear then gets his head just punch square in but Yujiro. Honestly this fight is not even close to being fair because everybody’s looking at this like superman versus Goku but it’s not even close to that as I’d rather see death death battle then see Goku versus superman for a third time.

There is also the issue that Homelander's lasers take a second to charge, and longer if he is using them to intimidate someone.
With how arrogant he is, I can see Homelander mistaking Yujiro for some bodybuilder hopped up on Temp V and thinking he can spook him with the threat of being slowly layered to death... only to immediately regret it as Yujiro uppercuts him
@victornieves1794 IRL, yes. Light's speed in these shows is pretty inconsistent, but it is definitely slower than real light.
A fight between these two would be very cool on a thematic level. Both being the strongest in the world. But one was given it through science and artificial means. While Yujiro is a symbol of humans at their physical and technical peak, all through natural means
If Homelander took to the skies, all it would take is a few taunts and a hearty laugh to bring him back into range. Or he could just flick a pebble and knock him down. If I remember correctly, Yujiro stopped an earthquake with a single strike so all it would take is a single blow to knock the fight out of Homelander.

It all depends if either is going full power, Homelander is stupid, he might just rush in and go for the "hand through the chest move", just for it to be stopped due to Yujiro's chest muscles.
Yujiro's got a bunch of crazy techniques. And Yujiro is too proud to let himself lose in a straight up strength test between the two of them. I say Yujiro takes it, although, if Homelander decides to straight up just hover in the air and spam lasers, he's winning this.
Pretty sure those lasers would hardly make yujiro tickle and in the end he would just fart to fly towards the homelander and beat his ass
@@FactusCactus I don't know, man. His lasers cut through Planes no problem, it is known that he can regulate the strength of his heat vision, sometime they only go through one person, another time they go through multiple people and an entire building.
And when homelander's mad, he gets much stronger, which was proven by the fact that he was held down by three supes, but once he got mad, he overpowered them no problem.
Baki is much more inconsistent, we seen Yujiro getting tagged by sleeping darts, having penetrated his skin and injecting venom thingy into his bloodstream. But then again, we saw him tank lightning bolts, so I don't know, impossible to scale him, unless you wanna take peak performances of Yujiro, which is kind of a biased take, since we saw him getting tagged and caught off-guard by basic things like darts and nets.

I actually thought about this a few months ago, I think the fight would go two ways, being much different depending on who would be the aggressor. Yujiro and Homelander both have the motivation to fight each other, Homelander would want to eliminate Yujiro due to people claiming he’s the Strongest Creature, and Yujiro would want to humble Homelander for the same reason. Nonetheless, it doesn’t matter what version of Homelander you use, Yujiro would brutalize him and show Homelander his inner woman after. And it doesn’t even matter if Homelander uses his laser beams, Yujiro is dodging those.

Homelander could not lift the plane because if he did it in the air with his fist/hands would punch straight through the plane, and his body would probably also go through the plane if he tried to life it at the speed it was falling.
He's probably pretty used to dealing with all sorts of weaponry against him so I wouldn't put it past Yujiro to deal with laser beams as if they were just another weapon from a soldier. Also great video. It would be interesting to see another video like this, but comparing the comics version of Homelander to Yujiro as there's probably a lot more feats he has shown.
Most likely the fight would go like this:
Yujiro arrives to America to troll the president of the U.S.A. Homelander comes to see what's going on despite being told not to. Then arriving at the whitehouse in mere moments by travelling beyond the speed of sound he stands there before Yujiro. Being Homelander he decides to leave because due to his beyond superhuman senses those senses tell him this man is not to be trifled with and his body fearing for its continued existence make him leave before Yujiro even decides to give Homelander the time of day.
Or, we nerf Homelander's superhuman senses and pretend like he wouldn't know who Yujiro is. He strolls up to him, laughs that the President, a human, is bowing before another human, and insults him. Yujiro turns to Homelander and smiles, his pride and arrogance has caused the ogre to become excited. Someone who claims to be above humans? No, the very concept of a human? Yujiro, being just such that tests Homelander. He puts out his hand and asks for a Handshake and then proceeds to Dox homelander and tell him everything about him. Height, weight, full legal name, and also he makes fun of the fact his power comes from drugs and science and compares him to his son: Jack Hanma. Homelander, infuriated that his ego is being challenged doesn't use his superhuman sense of hearing or smell to observe that Yujiro is not intimidated by the manchild before him and goes in for a punch. Homelander is then treated like a a can of pringles, opened from the top, a hand stuffed down his middle, and his insides torn out.

You completely left out the time that Homelander was able to save Butcher after Butcher detonated that bomb in the same room they were in, and homelander was able to grab him and get them to safety before they were harmed

Swimming is exhausting, I'd argue this to at least be a feat of near impossible stamina, if not endurance as a whole.
The weird part is- Homelander has fought in his own comic, very Yujiro like characters. The huge part is: In the Comics, Homelander has only ever directly been defeated by a clone of himself, and was still waking around missing most of his body. Yujiro may be incredibly powerful, but Homelander can also sense the weaknesses in bodies, react faster than a nuclear flash..and is confirmed immune to every single weapon, toxin, and effect on Earth. The death of Homelander involved him fighting a clone of himself, conditioned to kill him. And he still won. Yujiro has a lot of power, but Homelander's full laser beams are basically "All the atoms in the place I'm looking at ignite". And while Homelander isn't well trained, in the show, he's much, much more competent in the comics and is fully able to fight other heroes. He is the Yujiro of his own universe. And he knows it. Likewise, while Yujiro can see flaws, so can Homelander. And Homelander under that same effect was entirely impervious. For all that Baki does great in scale; Homelander is simply a few notches above. Yujiro would be humbled immediately by Comic Homelander at least. He's unstable, but he's far from stupid. The plane stopping trick wasn't even that he couldn't stop it; it was because he was obeying the physics and admitted he'd tear it in half if he tried to catch it.
Yujiro and Homelander hit the same notch in their respective worlds- walking plot devices. That is it. And that is all they can be. The issue is, Baki is a martial arts manga, and the Boys is a pure capes/superhero comic with a gritty edge present in both. Yujiro isn't even the first "Martial Arts Master" with V that Homelander has beat. And the trick is? Homelander is just. That tough, and that fast.
Yujiro can sense weaknesses in the body as well and is able to basically analyze someone on the x-ray level so Yujiro clearly still has an advantage. Sorry home lander is giving up his lunch money to Yujiro every time in a fight.
You don't have to resort to comic's Homelander. Any version of Homelander would immediately kill Yujiro just after the fight starts. The difference is way too big.

I feel like Homelander would be the only other person besides Kaku Kaiou who could make Yujiro retreat. If Homelander were to fly up out of Yujiro's reach, Yujiro could potentially see the problem and try to bait him into a low clearance area. Yujiro is not opposed to using tools to aid him though, and i could see him using a reflective surface to counter the laser eyes. Yujiro has combat experience and is smart. His "xray vision" is not really xray just a keen eye towards people's weaknesses. That in itself could lend to seeing Homelander's narcissism and short temper.
If they stood in front of each other and mindlessly slugged it out, I’d give the edge to Homelander because of inherent durability. However, knowing the way both characters are written, Yujiro would definitely win by pulling out some ridiculous technique that conveniently ends his opponent. He’d probably use some weird Baki version of Hokuto Shinken from Fist of the North Star and destroy Homelander’s nerves and circulatory system. The Bakiverse already has such techniques being used by lesser characters.

Yojiro has taken a lightning bolt directly as well as dodging it. He has also countered an earthquake.
The only advantage is that he can fly and the laser vision mite be a minor problem.
And the arrow feat was from a bow that had a 400lb draw and he stopped it before it left the string lol.
This fight is decided by durability. Yujiro can be cut by a piece of sharpened steel. Something that would break on Homlander or at the very least bounce off of him. Its also stated that there isnt a weapon on earth that can kill Homlander. Including nukes. No one doubts that.

As for the eye lasers speed, only the first time Homelander activates it he would have a chance to hit. When active, he can change direction of the lasers quite slowly, making dodging them quite easier then when they are first activated. At any successive use, though, Yujiro would know what to look for, and martial artists are extremely adept at predict attacks based solely on the opponent's eye movement, or the movement of some muscles. If you know Homelander is about to shoot lasers, you can predict where they will first land by where he's focusing his eyes, and after that you can dodge them more easily.

I personally think Homelander would win, but that’s my opinion. I can’t really see Yujiro overcoming the flight and laser eye issue. I mean seriously, the fact that Homelander can fly at extreme speeds gives him way more tools to deal with Yujiro than anyone in Baki. What good are Yujiro’s techniques in the air or in space? And this is coming from someone that enjoys Yujiro’s overpowered antics. People saying that Homelander wouldn’t be able to touch Yujiro forget that Baki was able to tackle Yujiro with the cockroach technique. Now imagine if the same thing happened but Baki was no longer constrained by gravity. You get the idea.

He has to actually hit homelander. If he can't he will get rushed at high speeds. He most likely would get sent flying. Will it do damage. Probably. Homelander can easily throw a baseball into the air and it's mostly moving at high speeds and he does it without trying. If I'm being honest it takes a lot of strength to pull that off. And yujiro does not have the type of strength. Like serious he. Does not. Black noir was easily about to grab Annie and throw into the wall. And he was not trying. Homelanders laser vision, irrespective of its raw speed, is limited by Homelander's reaction speed in its targeting - so to get an advantage, he'd have to get a lucky / surprise shot, or be able to use it effectively at a range where Yujiro wasn't able to read or predict his movements.
Personally I don't see it dissimilarly to Yujiro being able to manage fighter aircraft etc.
Also, Homelander's mentality is so shaky, realising Yujiro was even relative to him / an actual threat would disrupt his limited strategic capabilities / fight IQ to the extent I dont think he'd be able to use his laser vision in the ways that might be effective vs Yujiro.

It would probably be worth looking at the comics to see if they can offer answers to these unanswered questions, especially since the live action show isn't done yet. Homelander might actually be stronger than we know, and they just haven't gotten to those points in the comics yet.
Honestly the comic book is over so that idea is thrown out the window and the only time we saw a home lander strength is when he was just punching people through the chest or flying into the White House and just destroying it he does not really have kudos levels of strength when it comes down to the comics either if I’m being honest because Superman did way more way way way way more than homeland are in his comics and Yujiro has done way way way way way more feats than homelander.

People want to explain away him stopping an earthquake or various characters saying he is more powerful than and can survive a nuclear bomb but the is their headcanon, not the story. Even in the father and son fight he let Baki beat him with everything he's got but still never got seriously damaged.

You could honestly give Homelander the benefit of the doubt for all speculation and feats and Yujiro would still stomp. The laser vision + flight is genuinely the only edge he has and I can't even see it being an issue for Yujiro who would either just tank it to make a point possibly getting some burns at the worst(i.e.Stormfront), or dodge it. Yujiro would likely also bully and humiliate homelander easily enough to send him into a tantrum which would ensure the fight stays on the ground.

I think he's saying that Homelander has better travel / movement speed than Yujiro but Yujiro has far better reflexes and reaction speed. Yujiro very likely can react to Homelander's speed, but likely wouldn't outspeed him if it were a race.

In Baki-Dou it is said by the narrator that Yujiro is always on high guard, and for that reason he would be able to even dodge lightning in time. Yujiro doesn't have any resources to be able to sense lightning coming straight from the clouds that are (on average) more than 2 km above the ground, as the only distance we have from the lightning is the one on the panel. No demon back who multiplies his statistics.

Yujiro could disappear and get behind a police squad that was watching him at several dozen meters of his position. hands in the pockets, simply and effortlessly.

Yujiro could stop a barrage of FTE attacks from Baki, letting several of them get just a few centimeters close just to block them. It's likely these attacks were going at Mach 1 (340 m/s) considering that Katsumi, someone weaker than Baki, very early in the series could break the sound barrier with the Mach Punch, a move Baki can use too even while bleeding out (BtG Chapter 362), and moments before this it was implied that Baki was moving at supersonic speed. Baki's fist about to hit Yujiro's chin and shows it without being close to his chin, which means Yujiro blocked Baki's fist without giving it the chance to move a bit. without any effort once again.
