Thank you! None of the videos were addressing this. So very much appreciated. I have a big hole where the guide was. I’m adding these in the future for my rentals. 🥰. Tenants are like kids. Gotta stay a step ahead!
This is a perfect solution I was looking for! I was planning to buy two new bifold doors AND pay someone to install them. This will be a cheap and quick fix! Thank you!
THANK YOU SAM! My wife and I have been trying for about two hours to fix a pair of bifold doors in our spare bedroom. 2:36 where you explained the adjuster bottom pivot helped us out greatly. The top joint wasn't connecting ad we had no idea why LOL thank you again.
I have a door with a bottom pivot extended its full length so the door can't be lifted to allow removing the door by pressing the top spring.. I can access with a needle-nose pliers the threaded screw of the bottom pivot from the inside of the closet, but can't figure whether to turn that screw right (clockwise) or left (counter clockwise) to move the wheel closer to the bottom of the door. Thanks
Check that the repair bracket fits the thickness of your door - my door was thicker because it has an outer sheet of wood veneer. There is a beefier "L-shaped" bracket that accommodates thicker doors, so I'm going with that. Thx for the video - it made me go look - and realize I'm not alone with this problem. WHY can't the doors just be made stronger to begin with ??

does it work even if the hole in the bottom got bigger because the pivot bottom pin went all the way in?
